GWB had the duty to save Terri and he didn't have the courage. Jeb had the duty to save Terri and he didn't have the courage.

This was a trap laid years in advance. The statute on end-of-life care was amended, through the work of a cabal of euthanasia activists, in 1999--with the signature of Jeb Bush. It legalized all the actions taken by Michael Schiavo. Then Terri was moved into a hospice run by the same cabal of Hemlock Society people, for a trial run of their new law. Their trial run has been a complete success, thanks to the inability of Jeb Bush to punch his way out of a paper bag--and the paper bag is the myth of Judicial Supremacy.

Jeb Bush and George Bush--the "pro-lifers" who were instrumental in bringing legal, involuntary euthanasia to America.

Terri and the Schindlers were the marks for this sting.

Terri's own brother came out today, chastising those who were condemning President Bush for bringing Congress into this. Our president, and Gov. Bush, did everything they could within the law to save Terri.

So, who are you to pass judgement on them, when Terri's own brother supports our President for his help?. Forget your political agenda, and put the blame where it deserves to be, with Terri's so-called husband, and the Judges, mainly Greer, who gave her the death sentence.

We need to get these liberal judges out of power, LEGALLY, which means getting to the voting booths when they are up for re-election.

You are so right. This is what the people answering polls have no idea of. Also the legislature was duped by this law. I see it as worse than Oregon's euthanasia law. Fact is Greer is 100% within the law of FL passed in 1999. Now that is the tragedy too. The way I see it, you sure don't have to be terminally ill to have food and hydration removed. Also they can ignore advanced directives that say I want a feeding tube if the patient's condition fits their very liberal criteria.

I still believe in law but common sense too. No judge should rule to remove a tube from this case. And no federal or Supreme court should allow it. But the real problem that started all this is the Fl law itself.

My Lord.

That's almost word for word what my husband said. He said this took years in the making.

But he was much more harsh about Gov. Bush.

(I was agreeing with him, the entire way.)

Ask a question:

How hard was Gov. Bush going to fight something that came about as a result of something he signed into law?

I do not want to think of the answer.

My opinion/belief in Gov. Bush has changed. Period.

Oh I know that law was passed and who was lobbying feverishly for it? None other than Felos.
Then Jeb signed it.

I still do not place the blame at the feet of W or Jeb, they tried to save her but the courts ruled the other way.

There are probably a lot of people in Florida dying from dehydration tonight.
Jeb has to draw the line somewhere, he is the Governor of all people not just Terri Schindler.
He has to run the state after this is all over with as he was elected to do. Honestly he cannot get into a big battle with the courts and legislature over this and risk impeachment for violating a court order. Also, if he did get Terri, he still would have to prove to a court that she needs to be in the custody of the state. You see how the courts are ruling.

I am saddened beyond belief about how this all played out.

$$$$

Soundbites rule these days, and yours is the best I have seen to describe what is happening. They never had a chance.
