We will set the price for this act next election, and it will be paid in full by those who defaulted on their moral obligations. Many senators are going to be searching for new jobs after this.

This is long and excessively wordy and harsh. However, the central point is correct. The solution should have taken place about seven years ago. Counsel for Terri Schiavo should have divorced Michael on the obvious grounds of adultery. That would have removed Michael as guardian.
All that has happened since has come from that initial error, years ago.

Nobody is going to hide from this including Senators. Legislation should be on the top burner to insure that this never happens again. All death sentences must have a jury. In this case, immediately prior to pulling the tube, all of the latest test should have been performed. I have no objection to allowing a patient to die, but without a final test, it's close to judicial murder. Anyone who decides to pull the plug can find a judge and lie. Just move the patient to a death hospice and contact this judge and the plug will be pulled. Scary.

I believe Michael stands to "inherit" far more by retaining rights to books and movies about Terri. In fact, I believe he has admitted looking at a $5 million book deal, or something of the sort.
Isn't there a law that criminals are not supposed to profit from their crimes?

Terri is not dying because her feeding tube got pulled...
SHE IS DYING BECAUSE A JUDGE ISSUED AN ORDER THAT NO ONE COULD ORALLY ADMINISTER FOOD OR WATER !!!
