WASHINGTON -- By a margin of almost 2-to-1, likely Florida voters feel strongly that Congress and President Bush should have stayed out of the battle over Terri Schiavo's fate, according to a new poll conducted this week for the South Florida Sun-Sentinel and Florida Times-Union.

Oh please...spare me. I just dont agree with you all and I am blind, or I am not informed etc..and so on. I am just as informed as you are. There has been plenty of BS on both sides in my opinion.
I am willing to flush our party down the toilet (not that that is what will happen)for one idea. Yes. That idea also involves an innocent human life that is legaly being murdered.
It doesn't make a damned bit of difference what the Polls say. To do something Morally right requires a backbone to go AGAINST the flow of public opinion.
I'm so tired of this.
To hell with them, to hell with the Governor to hell with Judge Greer.
I hope they all rot
"So, he lives with a woman and has two kids by her. Big deal. I dont believe that..."
You don't believe what? That he lives with another woman and has two kids by her?? If that's it, take the next few days and familiarize yourself with this case, then come back. Unfortunately by then, she'll probably be with the Lord.
---In fact the ONLY democrat to speak on this is Ted Kennedy who thinks the girl should be allowed to die. (ironic no?)---
"And when I came to, Mary Jo was gone..."
No you are not! It is demonstrably true given what you have stated. Get informed....please.
Wrong!!! 700,000 was for Terri's care, 300,000 was awarded to Mr. Schiavo for loss of consortium(sp) AKA loss of companionship. My understanding of this is that her parents wanted a part of the 300,000 and he said no and that is when all this started. Before that everything was fine between the two parties.
It is a figure of speech that is all.
Your understanding is wrong.
So if the mob says she must die then I guess we're just supposed to wash our hands of it like Pontius Pilate. I fear thear is not enough water to rid us of the stain.
I'm glad that at least a couple kids showed up with a cup of water. Doesn't say much for the rest of us.
You have lost what little of a mind you have! The money is gone and they agreed to take over her care. You're clueless, period!
Agreed! And Beeline, in my #144 post I was not trying to be an a*shole, I was being serious. Some of your comments on this thread come across as though you really DON'T know about this case.
Bogus push poll!
he's admitted it. On Larry King live he says he loves "two" women, I think he even said his girlfriend(actually common law wife) takes better care of Terri than Terri's mother.
Larry King Live aired October 27, 2003
KING: True, you have a girlfriend?
SCHIAVO: Yes. And I am very fortunate...
KING: Does it hurt the situation, do you think, as the way the public might look at you?
SCHIAVO: From their side, I'm sure. But you know something? I'm fortunate to have two women in my life that I love very much. My girlfriend right now has done more for Terri than her own mother did. She shopped for her. She washed her clothes.
KING: How do you feel about all this? In your gut, how do you feel? You could have walked away, Michael.
SCHIAVO: I could have. But I love my wife. And I'm going to follow her wish. And nothing's going to stop me.
KING: She mentioned a child. You don't have a child do you?
SCHIAVO: Yes, I do.
KING: With your girlfriend?
SCHIAVO: Yes.
KING: I see
The guy's a slime and has a vendetta against the Schindler family, IMO.
Goebels (Spelling) had NOTHING on the propaganda machine comming from the MSM and left today.
Therefore, I need to see the script before I buy this.

Beeline, that is not correct...
Feeding tubes and ventilators are not removed on a daily basis when they have been used for 15 years. There is a difference in an acute setting such as a hospital and a chronic setting such as a nursing home. Feeding tubes are not removed in the majority of patients, they are just clamped off in case the family changes their minds.
