I will try to find the reference. But remember, they are trying to kill Terri, not give her normal or natural care.

By judges order, she cannot even have her mouth swabbed out with a wet q-tip. Most patients undergoing this have at least peroxide and water washes for her mouth, and ice chips for the lips. This is forbidden for Terri, because of the acrimonious nature of the case and judges order she have absolutely nothing.

Terri's qtips have to be dry.

Can you imagine what must be the tearing on the dry skin by a dry qtip?

Thankyou for a reasoned reply instead of the outcry I expected. I agree with you about the swabs, that is something they usually do and there is no reason not to do that for her.

I do think we are hearing too many wild stories that aren't true, people are jumping to conclusions and repeating things they 'heard' somewhere.

I've watched Hannity interviewing the family every night in front of the Hospice and they have described her condition as becoming more 'hollow cheeked, sunken eyed', but none of the horrid things some people are trying to say.

Thank you again for a reasonable reply. We all hate what is happening and our helplessness makes us more 'touchy'.

Terri Shaivo chose her husband to be her surrogate. She made that decision with a sound mind and body. That decision was made when she married Micheal Shaivo.

Michael Schaivo accepted that duty when he married her, and promised to love, honor and protect her, through bad times and good, for richer or poorer,..., in sickness and in health, till death did them part. When he shacked-up with another woman in an adulterous relationship, fathered two kids with her and "moved-on" with his life, he broke that contract. If Terri is bound by it, then he is bound by it. Since he has violated it, he has forfeited any valid claim to speak for her.

Those who like to perpetuate suffering are easily spotted, they like to throw around labels like "culture of death.

Those who revel in the infliction of pain, misery and death are easily spotted; they brazenly lie and diabolically twist the meanings of words in an attempt to claim that the infliction of suffering and death is merely "relief".

Just how did this triumverate connect? Did MS, with his evil, plan in place, just 'luck' into Judge Greer, or did he first find Felos, and the two of them work to get Greer?

Speaking of Felos --- I was speechless today when he said that he had never seen Terri as beautiful as he had ever seen her. He must be looking out of the eyes of the devil.

Good catch. His eyes burn with the light of fanaticism.

And he tested avenues for treatment. He found none would work--there is no way to re-grow brain. He knew her wishes, which, btw, a husband would know, and set out on that course. But the brainwashed pro-life cult kept him from following through. Maybe Terri’s wishes included he move on with his life.

You mean like claiming a mentally incapacitated person wants to partake in holy communion before she goes passes on to paradise? Hey, maybe they can tie strings to her arms to pull them up in praise for the Lord and take pictures of her affirming her faith.

In all my years of listening to Rush, Hannity, etc, and reading FR, I have NEVER, not even impeachment or election, seen a subject that is upsetting and raising emotions the way this is.

I actually heard a woman crying on Rush the other day over this. This issue is touching people in their deepest souls.

And he tested avenues for treatment. - Only long enough to convince a court to award a big settlement, which, by the way, was specifically mandated to be used solely for Terri's care and treatment.

He found none would work... - Once he had the money he quit looking, and worse, even forbade others to try. He then broke the marriage contract, as I stated previously, and adulterously "moved-on" with his illegitimate family. At that point he forfeited any rights he could have claimed to control the remainder of her life. The fact that a corrupt judge then failed to act properly and remove him as guardian does not negate this, it simply demonstrates gross judicial misconduct of the part of the judge. At this point the rest of your theories, speculations and assertions are simply irrelevant.

Yes, it has. I think the combination of having it happen during Easter Week has given it special significance to all of us.

Terri is neither guilty nor innocent?

Preposterous. She has done nothing to deserve being starved to death by legal demand of her adulterous husband.

The Catholic Pope (funny how that works!) passed on to a better place of spiritual evolution and enlightenment.

I assumed that Terri Schiavo (also Catholic) would experience the same kind of passing.

Apparently, many did not see it that way.

Apparently, but then pro-life is a religion unto itself.
