I have heard so many people say that Jeb Bush DOES have the authority to take Terri out of the hospice and put her in hospital and reattach feeding tubes---

then, I hear an equal number of people saying just the opposite, BUT I think the one thing the we all KNOW is true is, JUDGE GREER AIN'T GONNA CHANGE HIS MIND OR HIS ORDERS TO HAVE HER STARVED TO DEATH!!!

Now, if Jeb Bush DID take Terri against the "orders" of Judge Greer, would he be seen as a "hero" or a "right wing politician idiot, trying to score points"?

Why is this being made public. Why tell the enemy what you're thinking of doing .. it just makes them dig their heels in farther. For all we know .. this could trigger some action to accelerate Terri's demise. I believe this might be a good idea - but it's out there in the public now so the element of surprise is gone. Good grief.

The legal brief was first made in 2003, and is well referenced elsewhere--pressure may help to sharpen the effort though--hardly an element of surprise lost.

well I would think so.....I have heard that yes, he can actually send in troops and take possesian of her....but that she can't be removed from the hospice without the consent of the guardian......but you ask if it matters....let me ask you this......would you feel the same way if a Democrat circumvented the law or for instance in the Elian Gonsalez case.......we were all up in arms....and to answer your question, Jeb would be seem as both hero AND political idiot......regardless of all the fine folks at FR, the nation as a whole polls on the side of Michael Schiavo, cause they fear gov't intervention in their family matters

First thing Jeb needs to do is arrest that GD Judge for interferring with a criminal investigation. Then arrest the County Sheriff for the same thing. That will then pull the teeth on the guard dogs outside of the hospice and allow State Investigators to move in and remove her from that death cell.
