TAMPA, Fla. — In what may prove to be Terri Schiavo's parents' "final shot," their attorney was trying to persuade a judge Friday that the severely brain-damaged woman had expressed her will to live.

According to an emergency motion filed late Friday afternoon, attorney Barbara Weller said that during a hospice visit on March 18, she asked Schiavo pointedly what her wishes were. Weller directed Schiavo to say the words, "I want to live."

Has Michael ever answered why he left her and fathered two children by another woman?
---
Don't know. But, he has stated or had stated for him, that he was fullfilling his marital vows. I wonder if he ment= forsaking all others till death do us part. Probably -NOT.

Another foolish statement that requires a link to the source.

It's been discussed here a million times. If you don't believe it, use a search engine. He wants her cremated. Period.
I don't care if you believe me or not. I'm sure I'll get over it.

What you said is true. And during Easter families will get together over every single Easter dinner table, Terri will be THE conversation.

I presume by your name you are a woman? Because, BINGO!...families across the country are discussing with the opportunity upon.

Yes I know lovely Michael arranged cremation. Let me say it again, there's not always a "body" for memorial ceremonies. Happens all the time. The Schindlers can most certainly have a memorial ceremony for Terri. She has family and friends who loved her. They have a right to gather and share their pain, the most important healing effect of a funeral.

The Old Media, you understand, is now caught up in this and are going to be unwilling accomplices in helping America reach a concensus. They're going to hate it.

Because the Schiavo case is not the case on which liberals should have hung their hat. The biggest liability in this case in terms of public relations is , yes, you guessed it, Mr. Michael Schiavo.

Americans understand divorce. American women especially understand how Mrs. Schindler can adore her retarded daughter after fifteen years of sitting by her bedside. Americans are going to "get" the conflicts of interest with Michael Schiavo. Hey, we carry this country on our backs. We get it!

You realize of course that even if she tried to say that, it would be evidence that the entire Greer rationale for putting down this 'carrot' is blown out of the water. [And no, I don't consider Terri a carrot, but there are many at FR of late who are too chicken to say it while they characterize her as 'dead for fifteen years, regardless of her progress during therapy prior to Michael getting the court award3ed lawsuit monies.']

"The parents who sent this child there just for a token
arrest should be arrested."

Disagreed. for two reasons: First, it was NOT a token arrest. Had that child been permitted the human kindness of delivering a cup of water it would help PROLONG HER LIFE--and if she could drink it without drowning, it would also put to the lie what has been said about her. Second, this is the kind of shock therapy we need to wake America to the Enemy Within. Booking and overnight (or more likely, release under own recognizance/bail to parents) is a low price to pay in the big picture. Photos of innocent children going to JAIL/being arrested for a simple act of HUMAN KINDNESS are surely, to those who are not mean-spirited, more effective than seeing grubby foul-mouthed "Peaceniks" being booked for Ruckus or ActUP! violence.

If the apathetic center does not become righteously indignant, America indeed is lost.

So everyone whose remains are in little urns are
hiding evidence they were murdered? That's past dumb.

I hate to say it...God I hate to say it... but I'm afraid you're probably right.

Greer will say Terri's supposed wishes expressed to the low life terrible excuse for a husband way back when ever trumps Terri's wish to live now. Or some stupid reason like that.

I'd try it. Let them take you to court and prove she can't work. In the meantime she is being fed and getting therapy.

Because the Schiavo case is not the case on which liberals should have hung their hat.

You bet. Notice how none of the grand demons of the liberal party have been any where in sight. They're just sending out their little demonic army to do the spinning and attacking for them. Where's Hillary?

"Well, I feel strongly that these guys are activists and have agendas and are attempting to set a precedent."

They are elitist. They know more about what is good for us than we do...so they would have us believe. They have lost their souls...made a deal at the crossroads.

It amazes me to hear and see these people call everyone who thinks Terri should have a chance to live a "Christian fanatic" or "Right-wing Christian nut". I think Terri should have a chance to live and I can't remember the last time I set foot in a church.

We are now watching the true struggle for humanity. I feel it must be rescued. While I hope with all my heart that Terri is given that chance to live, I fear she will lose that chance.

The reality is we gave her chance away. We did not pay close enough attention to the things that were going on in our society to get involved. We assumed that common sense and common decency would always win the day. We were wrong. And now we have put ourselves at risk and are in danger of becoming the "sheep" for the demented herders who we now call judges. We let Clinton get elected in 1992 and the snowball started down the hill. His culture of "I never inhaled" is causing many of us to believe we have to suck it up. But we don't!

No matter what happens to Terri Schiavo now, we have to go forward with our eyes wide open. We have to protect ourselves and our children from those who will impose their sick sense of morality on us all. Theirs is a culture of selfishness and materialistic pursuits. It's about power for them now and it has planted it's roots in our judicial system. We have to return our judicial system back to it's original purpose. We do this at the ballot box.

Tomorrow I will be 47 years old. Last November I voted in a presidential election for the first time in my life. It felt good to be on the winning side. Now I look back and feel terribly guilty that I waited so long to get involved. If more of us had done so I don't think we would be in such a predicament today. I feel compelled to fix it. For me and my kids.

I'm watching closely now. I'm taking note of all those in our government who oppose the culture of life. My hope is that everyone else will as well. We have to show up for all elections, not just every fourth year. This is how we fix it. I've learned my lesson. Many on this site already knew it. You have a new recruit joining you now. No more sitting back for me.

And I might even go to a church this Sunday.

(Sorry for the long post. Just had to get that out.)

It's worth a shot! I have absolutely NO idea who you'd contact, but heck, it's a loophole that just might work!

Yeah, yeah, it's getting the federal govt. involved, but good heavens, but it's at times like THESE, when the states aren't able to protect their citizens, that the federal govt. is SUPPOSED to step in!

So you think having a 10-12 year old placed in handcuffs
and the back seat of a prowl is a positive thing?

Do you think a kid that young really understands the issue
he is being arrested for other than the loony slants his
adults give to him?

A statement that foolish deserves a link to the original source.

No source, mostly sarcasm on my part. Most likely it would be arrest, charges of criminal trespass, perhaps an indefinite time in the slammer for contempt of court, and possibly a few shots from the taser like that other guy got.

That is what my pastors wife wrote in an article the other day. How can the court expect this man to tell them the truth when he can't even keep his wedding vows

It frustrates and bothers me that republicans control most of the government but we can't even stop the unjust killing of Terri. It's crazy that the president and the governor of Florida who are the two most powerful people in the state are being overruled by a blind piss ant state judge. In reality those two do have the power to take control of Terri but they are afraid to use it.

"Who's next?"

Republicans.

Here is why: Dean said that Republicans are "braindead". I am sure that is sufficient for Greer to order all of us killed. Seems like the only test needed is for someone who has a vested interest in a person's death, to announce that the other is braindead and would want to die.

I agree to an extent. The children are our future afterall. I really wouldn't do that to my children but hey, what a lesson in how our country works. The pics are haunting.

Why bother telling Greer? She knows what the answer will be. And it's so late, why not sooner? Why not report it to the FBI instead?

Or the DCF for that matter. Make them ignore it officially! /s
