I always thought the Del Monte Forest was a preserve.

I think the forest should be preserved. Let Clint build his golf course at the corner of Highway 101 and 33.

I hope Clint and company lose. It's just another gated getaway for the rich. To get away from the problems of California that are caused by the illegal immigration they promote. I'm speaking in broad generalities but that how I see it. I have 100 other public issues I'm more concerned about

Allegedly there's 17,000 trees on 150 acres according to these mopes, correct?

Okay class, let's start ....

1. 1 acre = 1076.39 SF
   
2. 150 acres = 161,458.5 SF
   
3. Then we divide that by 17,000 trees (correct?)
   
4. That results in One Tree per 9.498 SF.
   
5. Which is ONE tree per every 3.08'x3.08' of area.
   (a tad larger than a square yard)

So this "17,000 tree" stuff IS IMPOSSIBLE, it's baloney - unless they are extremely SKINNY Pine Trees! /s
OR... if it is true then the trees SHOULD be cut - and then I get the jerks reference to the Amazon Jungle.

Another way to look at the baloney in all this is just the Single Golf Course they want to build.

• Assuming a Championship type course of around 7200 yards in length (21,600 LF) x an 'average' width of say.. 50 yards per hole (150 LF), we get; 3,240,000 SF

  Let's stop right there - as the Golf Golf alone is now BIGGER than the whole 150 acre (161,458.5 SF) Development.
