" Many left-wingers are racists at heart!"
Most (not just many) liberals are racists at heart, in mind, overtly, covertly and implicitly. In fact the democrats are and have been the party of racism.

**The offended legion of FReepers is not imaginary, I assure you. You have insulted the Mahatma, and one who does so does not escape the consequences of such folly. **
Ahem, right. I think you've been watching too much Star trek again.

Gandhi was a nearsighted intellectual who walked around in a dirty one-piece diaper. And Socialist loved him because he put man before GOD. As a Christian I highly suspect he is currently very thirsty and regretting having wasted his life.

Have you posted this before? I rememeber reading this here on FR many moons ago and being rivited by the article -- eve as I was again just now, reading it for the second time.
Either way, thanks for posting it now and/or then. It really is an eye-opener.

Lets see now... you've been a member of FR for three days and you don't want to hear what other people think???!!
Boy are you in the wrong place.

I repeat: I insist that you apologize both to me and to the other FR bloggers who are justifiably incandescent over your faux pas. "justifiably incandescent"?? You mean like a light bulb? What did he do, put uranium in our computer-side munchies?

When you're ready to plainly explain WTF you're obliquely referring to, THEN post to me again. Otherwise: don't.
Alternative histories can be entertaining - I've read several wartime alt-hists, and liked them, and was curious as to which one MWT was talking about in #41.

I am well aware of the abuses by the Brits. I am aware because the British were horrified by the events.
That is the difference.

I'll have to go hunt it down. It was one of those anthologies "Best of Alternative Military Histories" or somesuch.
Another great one was where the Confederacy won.
To: MeanWestTexan
I see the difference too. But it took the bashing of WW2 on Britain for the change in attitude.
