Our pastor is so emotionally involved in this issue that last night at our Maundy Thurs. service he was praying for Terri but said later he couldn't say her name. He prayed for the person in our country that is surrounded by food and yet is being denied food. We knew what he meant. He says our Easter service will also have Terri in mind. Our whole SS class last Sunday was a discussion of Terri and these issues with heavy Bible study that these decisions are left to God, not man.
Your statement showed just why we have the dilema we have right now. The pastors of this nation refuse to actively involve themselves. They pray without telling the names of the people they pray for, ect. We will see a change in this nation when the pastors are not weenies and will be willing to stand up and pray openly without fear of who or what will dislike what they do.
Like the Divine whom we cannot see, or like the Divine whom we only hear of or read about yet choose to disregard or reject the story, that $100 bill certainly exists but has value only to those who grasp it.
