Oh Lord. I think my worst fears about this might not have been unfounded. It's so sick that I'm not going to say what that fear is, period.

It's lust. Sad to say, I've noticed there's a lot lust for this kind of thing. A consuming, driving lust is the only way I can describe it. Worst of all, I've seen one after another of our online "enemy within" throw aside every principle they formerly held, just so they could keep single-mindedly focused on feeding this lust.

At the same time, I've seen many "average joe's" reach new heights in closeness to God and good, and in bravery and creativity, trying to fight this great evil.

I'm convinced that God has used Terri to draw a dividing line to get people to declare what's in their heart of hearts, for good or evil. Having to stand on one side or the other of that line is bringing out the best of the good and the worst of the evil - so they can go toe to toe over the biggest issue: the value of life and the future of liberty.

And that's my rant for this evening...

I have been greatly saddened by this, too. Actually-it has kind of creeped me out.

My thought about the make up is that he was embarrassed by her and has kept her out of the public eye and hidden, partly for this reason. Maybe he thinks it reflects badly on him to have a disabled wife. If he is a sociopath like SP and OJ, everything is all about him. I personally think he's disturbed if he had friends who didn't know Terri brought in to look at her.
