I saw Weller live on Fox or MSNBC the afternoon of Terri's tube being removed(3/18/05). She was visibly shaken by what had happened. I heard her say how upset Terri was, and that she had spoken. I believe her. I'm surprised they didn't play the clip more often.
Did you hear the 3 minute tape of Terri and her Dad? It was such a loving exchange between them. I really believe Terri was trying very hard to speak. Actually, I think she said ** Hi Dad **. You have to listen real hard, but I believe she said it.
Her larnex may have been somewhat damaged by medical procedures since her injury. Also, she has had NO/ZERO speech therapy for over 10 years.
