"Domestic terrorists".
Doesn't matter. If the Governor raises the threat-level, and a threat does appear to have surfaced, he can control certain facilities, I would presume.
Hang in there.
There's many of us who have been through crap like this before and we know to duck our heads for a while and let the smoke clear.
This too shall pass.
And thank you, soldier.
I know.. but I'm not considered "Pro-life" because I am not willing to kill abortion doctors, or blow stuff up... so...
That I hadn't heard.
For what purpose?
Obscuring the view?
Next they'll be paving The Cornfield at Antietam....:-\
Take a break than. I'm doing more than posting....so I am a little more invested.
yeah...something about them not being authentic to the battlefield or something like that...
I honestly think they should plant a tree for every brave soldier that fell on both sides in that great battle....
yeah I think I will do that.....eventually....
thanks....
They didn't have to speak. We're talking God in the flesh here. You don't think he would already know the person wanted help? He knows what we need BEFORE we even ask (that's in the good book, too).
Besides, Lazarus, the only man who Jesus raised from the dead, was hardly able to "ask" Jesus to bring him back to life.
His wife was sad. Jesus liked her, and he liked Lazarus. He knew Lazarus was dieing and did nothing for awhile. He waited. Why? So he could raise him with an audience. Pretty powerful, wasn't it? He collected a lot of converts that day!
bump
bump
bump!!!!
And I do not think it is a theory.
I will be here to get your back when you return :)
"yeah...something about them not being authentic to the battlefield or something like that... "
?!?
Oh yeah...I forgot...there were no trees in PA in the 1860s.
You should see the "Luminarium Night" at Antietam every year.
They use those paper bags with candles in them, one for every fallen soldier.
To see 20,000+ flames flickering in the dark of the night is literally breath-taking.
You're right.
My point is that we shouldn't be so quick to judge what God is doing in this situation. Regardless of the outcome.
Yes, completely agree, Greta is a putz and an alarmist- only for ratings.
True. True. I'm not giving up my faith, but I'm not giving up my country to a Keyes\Randall\Nader\Jackson THeocracy, either...
:)
thanks!! :)
He's forcing Americans to look in the mirror. He's forcing the world to look in the mirror. Do we like the culture of death we've created? "Take a good look, and see what America does to it's own people".
I believe people are doing just as he wants us to. We know we could all be like Terri someday and someone could be starving us to death because they no longer find us useful, and don't believe the polls without reading the actual question first. People are asked questions like : "Should Terri, an armless zombie, with a 500 ton air compressor strapped to her forehead to keep her alive, be allowed a peaceful , euphoric , orgasmic exit? Yes or no."
That's among my fears as well.
