A federal court hearing has started in one of the last effort attempts by Terri Schiavo's parents to restore their daughter's feeding tube.
But the judge already has turned down the parents once. Bob and Mary Schindler are asking for an emergency order to reinsert the feeding tube in the brain-damaged woman.
The hearing in Tampa is before U.S. District Judge James Whittemore. He turned the Schindlers down once, as did a federal appeals court and the Supreme Court. A state judge, a state appeals court and the Florida Supreme Court also have all come down on the side of the husband, who wants to let his wife die after 15 years in what some doctors call a vegetative state.
The latest defeat for the Schindlers was today when a state judge said he won't go along with Governor Jeb Bush's request to order the feeding tube reinserted. The governor had said that new allegations of abuse of Terri Schiavo need to be investigated. The governor also tried to challenged the diagnosis that Terri Schiavo is in a persistent vegetative state.

Unlike the Criminal Morally Bankrupt Enterprise of the Clinton administration and the Democrat party, President Bush knows enough to keep his authority within the bounds of the Constitution. You see a corrupted judiciary and you're blindly blaming the President. How unfortunate.
It's happening in my house. My wife, who does not follow the news closely, votes GOP. She is really unhappy right now. "That poor woman. She's had the bum's rush from the start." (referring to Terri)
Not much of an impact since we live in Maine, and the GOP won't run a conservative here anyway.

And we now know the ACLU runs the courts. They were behind this helping Felos with his motions.
If it is incorporated, it could well be a close-held corporation, where only private individuals hold shares and no exchange is used. Is Felos on the board or anything like that? I really don't know much from that end.
It still is a great nation, and I'm quite certain that if you could, you'd fight for her all over again.
It is a dark hour, but we were great even when we held that slavery was legal. The slavery was an abomination, and it took many innocent black men and women's lives before we were able to summon up the courage to end the scourge.
Similar days are bound for us, I'm afraid. But, I think we still retain the blood of those patriots, both those of you who were born here, and those of us America adopted.

The statutes that are used to justify starving her now have the same construct. The only difference is that with the Advance Directive, there is no need to go to court to get permission to stop feeding the patient.
So the Bushes are "cowards" because they don't just cast aside laws they don't agree with?

well, I punched into google to fish for problems with woodside. Seems they have had soem suits. At one time or now even Felos was head of the board for that hospice. They talked about their stocks doing well, but I can't find more info on it.

I was stunned... I told him Terri that was no way Terri should die or could die....(praying, praying).......
We went back and forth..and then he askes me, "Do you know what she looks like??"

What made me sick was:
His son is mentally disabled and lives in a group home.
It's amazing how you can think you know people and then you hear stuff like that.
