And the greatest of them all...Judge Greer...Clinton appointee...which explains a lot.

i read the language of the actual bill last night. HOw in the name of God ANYONE could vote against this stands reason on its head. These people are disgusting and clearly failed to honor their oath to obey the Constitution.

Judge Greer is a Florida state judge, elected by the voters of the county where Terri Schiavo resides. Furthermore, he was elected on the Republican ticket. We can't blame Clinton or the Democrats for this black robed tyrant.

Mike Bennett has been a loser since the day he took office. We are actively working to remove him as our local embarrassment and nightmare.

IF THIS CASE INVOLVED A CHILD, THE PUBLIC WOULD NOT ALLOW ANY JUDGE TO RULE THAT THE CHILD HAD TO STAY IN THE CUSTODY OF AN ALLEGEDLY ABUSIVE PERSON.

TERRY SCHIAVO HAS ALLEGEDLY BEEN ABUSED. THE COURTS HAVE NO JURISDICTION TO PROHIBIT CFS IN FLORIDA FROM ITS MANDATED MISSION.

What's the payoff? Who can do some research to see what Judge Greer gets for allowing Terri to die?

Honestly, I was not thrilled with the language of the bill, but the underlying principle of erring on the side of DEATH is unforgiveable for a REPUBLICAN, IMHO

I'd like to see a Florida legislator introduce a bill authorizing starvation as the standard method of execution for death row inmates. Then let's see the hypocrites come out of the woodwork!

Hes a republican like Lincoln Chafee is a republican. And he was a Klinton appointee.

Thank you. Will rememeber each and every one and while I am so angry at them I WILL pray for their souls because when they meet God on Judgement day they will need all the prayers they can get. They have done a grave, grave injustice here. They stood by and allowed a young woman to starve and no doubt she will be dead soon. They will have this on their hearts and souls forever. They have to look at themselves in the mirror and maybe not today, and maybe not tomorrow but...one day they will look into that mirror and see...REALLY SEE who they are and what they did. I would NOT want to be in their shoes or their skin. They give me the creeps. God, if it is to be, take Terri home to Heaven and wait for those who allowed this woman to starve and so vengefully so at that. Such a rush to kill this woman. God help them. God help them.

This is exactly where the people of Florida need to focus their attention. Run those people out of the state, ruin their careers. Then you can change the law and this will never happen again.

Cases such as this demonstrate the difference between politicians who are real Republicans, and those who use the Republican party to get elected in their districts.

We should also look at the nine RINOs in the Florida Senate. For example, J.D. Alexander, the Senate Majority Whip, received a portion of his campaign finance from different firms in the medical business. Here is a list of contributors in 2004. (Florida law must cap the maximum contribution at $500; most of these contributions were of the presumed maximum.)

United Healthcare Corporation, Minneapolis, MN
Priority Healthcare, Tallahassee, FL
Humana, Louisville, KY
The Towers Pharmacy, Pensacola, FL
Morton Memorial Health Systems, Stuart, FL
HCR - Manor Care, Toledo, OH
Northport Health Services, Tuscaloosa, AL
Radiology PAC, Mt. Dora, FL
Tenet Health Systems, Ft. Lauderdale, FL
Florida Society of Anesthesiology, Tampa, FL*
Healthease, Tampa, FL*
Wellcare of New York, Tampa, FL*
Harmony Health Plans, Tampa, FL*
Well Care Comprehensive Health, Tampa, FL*
Well Care HMO. Tampa, FL*
First Choice Health Insurance, Tampa, FL*
Florida Osteopathic Medical Association, Tallahassee, FL

* All of these companies operate out of the same address and office suite in Tampa.

It would be interesting to see if there are affiliations between Senator Alexander's contributors and the owners of the hospice where Terri Schiavo or the medical related interests of Mr. Felos (Michael Schiavo's attorney) and Judge Greer.

Are you sure you're not referring to Judge Whittemore, the Federal district court that first reviewed the case? Greer is a State judge, with nothing to do with Clinton.

Their actions will be remembered by the voters when they run for re-election.
