Does Jeb Bush or the judge have ultimate authority over county Sheriffs?

Jeb commands the State Police. They can take care of the Sheriffs, who are county constables.

Thats what I'd like to know.

I would think the governor would seeing as how he was the one elected.

County Sherriffs are typically Constitutional Officers and as such have more authority than any State Police do.

Good question, the Sheriff is the highest ranking law enforcement officer in his/her county. They answer to the people that elected them only.
