Amen.
Good nite!~ Sweet dreams! thank you for sharing what you have!
I am tired and believe me I went through believing DCF and Jeb could do something "legally", but the reality after doing some heavy reading they cannot do it and stay within the law. (Terri's family does not not wish for him to break the law - why should I?)
I believe that they should stay within the laws - the problem is they should have went in and took her before they open up their mouths on TV yesterday. They still would have not been able to put the feeding tube in her, but they could have put fluids in her via IV.
If you do a google news search you will find info there.
You said: "He says he won't go against the law... well for starters Jeb, there is no law that allows Terri to be starved to death.. secondly.. a judge cannot make up laws as he goes along, which Greer has done, thirdly.. even if it was the law (which it's not) if the law allowed segregation again would you follow that too? Grow a pair, Grow some morals, don't let a woman die on your watch."
You have a way with words. Well said.
Welcome back! :)
(choking back.....)
God Help Us All. Hear our Prayers.
I fear my heart will harden more towards society due to what Terri is suffering through. She is innocent as a baby in this nightmare.
OK Scarlet but just wondering. Terri is most likely to die at this point and if faith and prayer do not save her and move mountains as you believe what will you say then? Probably that God has another more important plan for her. Just like you prayerful always say. If God wants to save Terri He will do so on his own accord. Prayers typed on a website make no difference and are just an excuse for inaction IMO.
Lord we ask you to touch Judge Whittemore with knowledge, wisdom and compassion that he knows Your will and carries out Your plan.
We ask this in Thy name. Amen
Thanks. glad to see some are still here.
This whole deal echoes of Lisa McPherson. Anyone know of this case?
We will have to "agree to disagree" as they say.. that's ok..there is room for a little of that.. just don't get too crazy..hehehhe..
The article I read didn't say.
Here is a link to authority for Jeb to step in using his exec power: http://www.thomasmore.org/SchiavoAuthority10-03.pdf
Welcome back.... I have to take a few minutes to pay attention to poor ignored hubby... be back soon!
That's unfair of you since you weren't here and didn't feel the Spirit moving until he came in with his accussations and complaints.
Probably that is why judge Whittemore is taking so long tonight.
I expect a big surprise and a miracle tonight. Didn't the Blake decision surprised us all? March could be the month of surprises. Keeping my fingers crossed here.
Post #27 follows; its worthy of a repost.
"No sale. Whittemore addressed this issue in his decision. He quotes a Senator, during the debate, as saying that nothing in the law requires the issuance of an injunction. It is not true to say that Whittemore simply ignored the intent of Congress. He took the time to find out what occurred during the debate to try to divine exactly that.
The problem was that the Schindlers' attorney failed to ask for the de novo trial on the facts that Congress had intended. Instead he filed a petition essentially seeking review of Greer's decisions, thus dragging the whole Florida state court proceedings into what should have been a new trial on the facts.
A huge mistake; one I am told they have since rectified in the new petition that is before Whittemore now. My read of Whittemore's previous decision is that he is not opposed to issuing the injunction. But the Plaintiff has to give him a reason to do it. He can't just make up a case that Plaintiff didn't bring.
"If and it's a big if somebody got in there and explained to Gibbs & Co. how to get this done, I think there's a reasonable chance Whittemore will order the tube back in tonight."

Blowing up the backpack huh?
Probably contains a dangerous Holy Bible and a egg sandwhich.
read that link, it has lots of good info in it
Hang on, OP....we're all here with you.
If God wants to save Terri on his own accord, why do you run around, make calls, etc? What will you say then, if after all your work she dies?
