Two Gardens
In one garden,
the lie was chosen
over the will of God,
and nature
groaned under the curse
and the grief
and the countless tears
of mankind
that followed.
In one garden,
quietly,
one full moon night
the will of God was chosen
over the lie
and nature knew
the promise of healing
that would free a woeful mankind
of its tears
had begun
in the unfathomable grief of
the one who said yes.
Wow. Yeah.
"Yes, it is. And we have been in prayer, for many hours now."
And I bet there are other bloggers out there praying like this as well....all united in helping Terri...Stength in numbers!
I feel the same way. I have been devastated all day. Right now I am experiencing the peace that surpasses all understandig. WHATEVER IS HAPPENING INSIDE THAT HOSPICE OR INSIDE THE COURTHOUSE OR INSIDE THE GOVERNOR'S MANSION OUR GOD IS IN CONTROL. AMEN.
May it be so! Come quickly Lord.
No one here really knows me because I'm new, but I'm a VERY shy person who doesn't usually get involved out of fear and I don't usually pray with people because I get nervous and am always at a loss for words...NOT TONIGHT!
Nail on the head.
Ahhh so I'm not the only one with 'glued to the PC syndrome' i've been here since about 3 PM EST
I kept think of the Savior speaking to the disciples: "Could you not watch with me one hour?"
Dr. Carlos Gomes of Capital Hospice on wiith O'Reilly. Most honest I've heard.
O: "Have you seen pain when the water and food tube is gone? Pain? Spasms?"
Dr: "Yes."
O: "Can anything be done for it?"
Dr: "We can mitigate it, pain, and if there are other signs, if the heart is racing showing stress, rise in blood pressure, we can help."
O: "Does that stop the pain?
Dr: "After giving them what we can, we dont know if they're in pain. We don't have a particular way of measuring if pain is absolutely gone."
In one garden,

one full moon night
the will of God was chosen
over the lie
and nature knew
the promise of healing

Thank you, Lord.
You win the prize! I hope you have a better desk chair than I do.
No, dear. Not tonight. You are among friends here.
{{{{big hug}}}} Thank you for your precious words of faith tonight and the beautiful songs.
I'm trying to find out what has ACTUALLY happened. Any word on Whittemore? Did State Police really go to Hospice?
Could we perhaps have a separate prayer thread for Terri and one just devoted to a discussion of what's going on legally, politically, and morally? Scrolling past these long prayers is getting tiresome.
I'm pretty shy too, but remember:
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
Philippians 4:13
"I'll confess .....I have not prayed in I don't know how long. I feel so moved to prayer tonight I can't even explain it. I found this board a few days ago and read through this entire thread and everything else I could find but was just today...this evening moved to join in."
Glad to have you with us!
Actually I am using a chair from my kitchen table..........suffering severe fanny fatigue lol
God bless you, SvdByFaith, we are so glad to have you with us!
