Tell them: Let not your heart be troubled. God is on the throne and He is still in control.
I do feel Christ is as work tonight with Terri! I really do! Not sure what this means, but I feel a calm feeling now that no matter what happens it will all be ok.! God is in control! He is there in the midst of Terri's sorrow and pain holding her! He will not let her go, I know this to be true!
I heard them say about 1/2 hour ago that they were told that was the end of the evening for the guys working on the case, that it was over for the night. Maybe because of the backpack threat.
The fact it's lasted as long as it did could be hopeful. Last time Wittewhatever made his entire de novo decision of all the information within 1 1/2 hours
I sure do and I think it's going to be really BIG!
I have had a feeling for a long time that they may leave one after the other...
If she has to leave us what a glorious way for a good Catholic to depart! What a sign the Lord is giving us.
We adore thee, O Christ, and we bless thee,
for by thy holy cross, thou hast redeemed the world...
Joining my heart in prayer with all those here.
We are reminded of the Lord's agony in the garden. Terri is one with Him in her suffering.
No, you are not going crazy. Something is happening. I feel it very strongly. I feel more strongly drawn to prayer than I have in a long time. Let's not forget that God works in mysterious ways.
That song just "popped" into my head...and I had to post it.
I know I've had non stop chills for almost 20 minutes
God help Terri and heal our Nation.
My job keeps me driving the roads all day long from place to place. I listen to talk radio a lot. Tony Snow is one of my favorites but I love Sean Hannity.
Lord, hear our prayer...
Well, my prayer friends! My Muscle relaxer is kicking in and I am about to fall asleep. I will be getting up in the middle of the night to check the news to see if anything has happend! I will go to bed praying and fall asleep praying! Terri is not forgotten nor forsaken!
Amen.
I'll confess .....I have not prayed in I don't know how long. I feel so moved to prayer tonight I can't even explain it. I found this board a few days ago and read through this entire thread and everything else I could find but was just today...this evening moved to join in.
Good night, Halls!
"Does anyone else feel like something is happening??? Or am I going crazy?"
What do you mean? Spritually?
A song for holy Thursday night:
Tis midnight, and on Olives brow
The star is dimmed that lately shone;
Tis midnight, in the garden now
The suffering Savior prays alone.
Tis midnight, and from all removed
Emmanuel wrestles lone with fears
Een the disciple whom He loved
Heeds not his Masters grief and tears.
Tis midnight, and for others guilt
The Man of Sorrows weeps in blood;
Yet He Who hath in anguish knelt
Is not forsaken by His God.
Tis midnight, and from ether plains
Is borne the song that angels know;
Unheard by mortals are the strains
That sweetly soothe the Saviors woe.

Be still, my soul: the Lord is on thy side.
Bear patiently the cross of grief or pain.
Leave to thy God to order and provide;
In every change, He faithful will remain.
Be still, my soul: thy best, thy heavenly Friend
Through thorny ways leads to a joyful end.
Be still, my soul: thy God doth undertake
To guide the future, as He has the past.
Thy hope, thy confidence let nothing shake;
All now mysterious shall be bright at last.
Be still, my soul: the waves and winds still know
His voice Who ruled them while He dwelt below.
Be still, my soul: when dearest friends depart,
And all is darkened in the vale of tears,
Then shalt thou better know His love, His heart,
Who comes to soothe thy sorrow and thy fears.
Be still, my soul: thy Jesus can repay
From His own fullness all He takes away.
Be still, my soul: the hour is hastening on
When we shall be forever with the Lord.
When disappointment, grief and fear are gone,
Sorrow forgot, loves purest joys restored.
Be still, my soul: when change and tears are past
All safe and blessèd we shall meet at last.
Be still, my soul: begin the song of praise
On earth, be leaving, to Thy Lord on high;
Acknowledge Him in all thy words and ways,
So shall He view thee with a well pleased eye.
Be still, my soul: the Sun of life divine
Through passing clouds shall but more brightly shine.
