How did your emergency turn out? Everything OK?
Eleanor Clift said, "She's on a breathing tube, she can't breathe on her own."
And the Fox Host (Rich Lowry?) did not correct her.
I called the Fox comment line, I emailed Roger Ailes, and I never heard a correction.
[That sonic boom down there might have been me screaming into the comment line.]
You talk about brain dead: I give you Eleanor Clift.
You're being emotional and unreasonble. Jeb is doign everything he can. Why dont you trust him for a freaking second? not to snipe but for the love of God she would be dead if not for Jeb. He'll make the right decision at the right time. I trust him fully.
I know. But what scares me about Terri is that she's not getting even WATER. I don't know how anyone can survive sans water.
A while back the Empire Journal said the Governor should appoint a special prosecutor. Has he done so?
Amen!!!
Girl, do you ever sleep?
I hear ya! I'm really pissed!
If the vulnerable adult's caregiver or guardian is present, the protective investigator must seek the caregiver's or guardian's consent pursuant to subsection (4) before the vulnerable adult may be removed from the premises, unless the protective investigator suspects that the vulnerable adult's caregiver or guardian has caused the abuse, neglect, or exploitation.
Hey, js,
Don't stop reporting news! Not all of it out there is incorrect. There's enough of us that we usually get it figured out! :)
Good evening Kenth. I got about that much sleep too. Problem is I got up at around 2am here in Los Angeles, and read the news that the 11th circuit had denied Terri her tubes. I couldn't go back to sleep and have been up ever since. I just can't sleep though. I feel like I am sitting in a surgical waiting room waiting, waiting, and waiting.Staring at this computer monitor.!!!!
Yeah. The lack of logic and false commentary some of these people are using makes you wonder how in the world they could subscribe to a view that supposedly brain dead people should be put to death when they themselves are dangerously close to the same.
Criminal...
Gabriel Keys (foreground) is arrested by police officers for
trespassing in Pinellas Park, Florida, March 23, 2005. The
young protester attempted to take a glass of water into
the Woodside Hospice for the brain-damaged Terri Schiavo.
A federal judge approved the murder of Terri Schiavo by
rejecting a request from her parents to order her feeding
tube reinserted to save her life.http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/050323/ids_photos_ts/r4209066064.jpg
Kathy Scharplaz, of Minneapolis, Kan., prays outside the Florida Senate chamber on Wednesday, March 23, 2005, in Tallahassee, Fla. Terri Schiavo's parents saw their options vanish one by one Wednesday as a federal appeals court refused to order the reinsertion of her feeding tube and the Florida Legislature decided not to intervene in the epic struggle. Refusing to give up, Gov. Jeb Bush sought court permission to take custody of Schiavo. (AP Photo/Steve Cannon)
Not sure if it's been mentioned:
Fox News Alert: Republican leaders say they will file a legal brief in this case.
I sure haven't the last several weeks.Between court cases for our grandson's custody, Terri's case, and two consecutive weekend trips to Ariz and back, I would say I have been averaging about 3/4 hours a nite. NOT near enough for a senior citizen!!!
Greta on again....I'll listen to what the guy says about DCF
Turns out Greer is just a county probate judge, step up from county or village justice NOT a state judge as the media keeps saying and wasn't supposed to have jurisdiction here.
If this was the case, this is a big thing to turn over a decision, but you would think the appellates would have overturned for jurisdictional reasons if they had no jurisdiction, so I am not sure you are right on that. When you make a pleading you have show you have jurisdictional standing at the court.
That's what was reported on Empire Journal.
That hospice is really getting good press isn't it. How much would you have to pay to get such great PR?
I just wonder how many new patients they will be admitting. Kind of turns one off to see police outside a hospice - not protecting citizens - but preventing the saving of a citizen.
Please give the following thread some bumps
I went ahead and posted a new thread for it because it so important.
