that is such a wonderful hymn. I'm sitting here in tears.
He speaks, and, listening to His voice,
New life the dead receive,
The mournful broken hearts rejoice,
The humble poor believe.
Lord, thank you for hearing our prayers for Terri. You want us to pray for the weak and helpless, and we know you hear us. We are grateful. Again, we ask you to strenghten her organs against all understanding. We ask you to keep her and help her, and sustain her. Again we ask you to give her parents strength, and give wisdom to the court. In Jesus name. Rescue her, oh Lord, and hear the petitions of your people. Most importantly most high, let YOUR name be praised and glorified in this. Lord, when I met Mr. Schindler, that is what I told him...do you remember? I said, God will be glorified in this. Glorify your name now, Most High...let the world see that you are God, and we give you all praise and honor and glory. In Jesus name.
me too Terriergal. Sang it often before the 2004 elections
Lord, You have already won the fight and the battle! You reign victoriously! You have conquered sin on the cross! thank you for reminding us this week how much You Love us and how fragile life is!!
We give it all to you god, we give it all to YOU!!
amen...
we are praying here now
I love that one!
What a precious life! She has touched us all.
Singing and praising God along with you . . .
Absolutely!! He is King, forever and always,, the alpha and the omega... and all we have is Yours.. we give this up to You, to use for Your Glory..
Yes, I agree with you. I was cynical about trusting man in the first place. I suppose there are several things to be thankful for here: this situation has revealed many good and decent people for what they truly are, solidified our suspicions about others and also ripped the masks off the pretenders.
We sang "It is well", at my step dad's memorial. :)
AMEN, this is an awesome reminder to us all that men fail and the only ONe we can trust is Our Lord Jesus Christ! We put our faith in Him and Him alone! He is a Maker, provider, helper, no one else! No one else can help but Jesus! He is so sweet to our life and He provides such comfort to us in our misery! praise Jesus!
This may be Terri's last chance, unless Jeb Bush intervenes and intervenes fast. It seems, though, that Bush has washed his hands. Some leadership.
Hoping and praying for a miracle.
Amen.
Jesus, lover of my soul,
let me to thy bosom fly,
while the nearer waters roll,
while the tempest still is high.
Hide me, O my Savior, hide,
till the storm of life is past;
safe into the haven guide;
O receive my soul at last.
2.
Other refuge have I none,
hangs my helpless soul on thee;
leave, ah! leave me not alone,
still support and comfort me.
All my trust on thee is stayed,
all my help from thee I bring;
cover my defenseless head
with the shadow of thy wing.
3.
Thou, O Christ, art all I want,
more than all in thee I find;
raise the fallen, cheer the faint,
heal the sick, and lead the blind.
Just and holy is thy name,
I am all unrighteousness;
false and full of sin I am;
thou art full of truth and grace.
4.
Plenteous grace with thee is found,
grace to cover all my sin;
let the healing streams abound,
make and keep me pure within.
Thou of life the fountain art,
freely let me take of thee;
spring thou up within my heart;
rise to all eternity.
I love that verse: He plunged me to victory, beneath the cleansing flood. Oooh, chills!
2Th 1:2 Grace unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
2Th 1:3 We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth;
2Th 1:4 So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure:
2Th 1:5 [Which is] a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:
2Th 1:6 Seeing [it is] a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;
2Th 1:7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
2Th 1:8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
2Th 1:9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;
2Th 1:10 When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.
2Th 1:11 Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of [this] calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of [his] goodness, and the work of faith with power:
2Th 1:12 That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
We sang that at both my parent's memorial plus Great Is Thy Faithfulness.
