Greer's ruling is law...and I am about choking typing this out. So anyone trying to disobey a court order would be arrested by the police.
Greer's done everything short of throwing himself on Terri, in order to block her being rescued.
Yes, I am sorry, I had to leave my computer for a bit. I am really upset now. Yes, Dr. Laura was openly sobbing. She had to go to a station break. I have never heard her so upset.
"Now Whittemore wants to hear the case again. Someone mentioned that Gibbs wasn't prepared last time and Whittemore practically gave him directions (don't know how true...don't bite my head off). "
I could've sworn earlier that I heard that Whittmore actually called Gibbs and said to come back....if this is true, good sign...could it be he saw the Supreme Ct filing and read what has happened to Terri and maybe that shows some merit? I am hoping
Thanks! Now I have to figure out HOW to get your post from here to there! :o)
Jeb can't go get her . He would be in contempt of court and would be arrested. Unbelievable, I know, but thats what Jay Sekolow just said on Hannity. His hands are tied.
I can imagine Dr. Laura is so shocked! We all are!
I have been doing the same thing and add even more stress to the situation, as I was throwing the last load of jeans into the dryer, my dryer decides to break....so I decided to vacuum and lo and behold....ya, you guessed it.
Greer is in contempt of Congress, so why does it work against Jeb but not Greer?
"I'm probably in the minority, but I don't think Randall Terry is helping things by making overt threats. We feel angry, and all this will definitely impact who are political and judicial choices in the future .. but I think it's unwise to incite furor in this emotional issue and on this anxious day. I don't think that kind of speech will change the reality of what people are in fact empowered to do or are already willing to do."
With you on this.
Seriously what do you want him to do? Kill the sherriffs that are just doing their jobs and take her? That is just silly and unreasonable.
I took a day off today and have intended to get a few things done...can't get away from the computer, however. I'm praying hard.
I don't know. I agree with you, but that hasn't been explained yet. I don't know. There is no hope for Terri now.
Here is my analysis based on a lawyer I saw on Fox - Whittemore wants them to present something that does not blame GREER....so they are going to claim Terri's due process was violated because the Fla law itself is too vague and does not offer proper instruction to the judge on how to interpret it...this is a face saving argument (Greer is not being attacked or blamed)....judges don't like to dump on other judges. They are apparantly also going to offer new evidence...this is the best I can understand it - what is not clear to me is who is appealing - the state or the Schindlers or both.
Me to Freepertoo!
Gov. Bush has his people pouring over laws trying to find another law to help them
Jeb tied his own hands, IMO.
Greer sided with Michael that Terri wanted to die. Everthing since then has been decided on that.
I hope they find it soon! Terri doesn't have much longer!
