"Still can't get a fax through to the Gov."
I don't think Governor Greer is taking any faxes at the moment..

Greer lifts temporary stay (preventing DCF from taking Terri)

Thursday, March 24, 2005
Terri Schiavo's feeding tube was rmoved Friday.
Judge George Greer granted a motion from Michael Schiavo's attorney, George Felos, to lift a stay that would have allowed the Department of Children and Families to take custody of Terri Schiavo Thursday.
Greer's decision means that his order from Wednesday stands, and the DCF must stay away from Schiavo.
After Greer issued an order Wednesday preventing the DCF from taking custody of Schiavo, David Gibbs, the attorney for Schiavo's parents, Bob and Mary Schindler, filed an appeal with the Second District Court of Appeals in Lakeland. Under court rules, the filing of that appeal automatically resulted in a stay of Greer's order telling
the DCF to stay away from Schiavo.
The DCF could have taken custody of Schiavo during a brief period between the filing of the appeal with the DCA and Greer's granting of Felos' motion. But the DCF did not act during that time.
Security around the Pinellas Park nursing home where Schiavo is staying has been beefed up to ensure no one defies Greer's order.
McDougal was sheriff of LEE COUNTY
Rush has been talking about it. He is on a roll right now.. he is FIRED UP!
I read on a much earlier post, Greer used to be a registered Rat.
It's time for another American rebellion against "King" George.
Maybe you could try Emperor Felos. He seems to be the one calling the shots, anyway. Greer is just his black-robed lackey.
If Greer is a Repub.. it he is a RINO... I think that is convienent only....
Thanks....Fox says decision in next hour or so....
If, by some Easter miracle, Greer agrees to a new hearing, will Terri get her tube back?
Could the ever cautious Jeb be awaiting the new ruling from his daddy Greer before taking any action?
Hi, amdgmary -- maybe, doesn't it fit? I called the white house today; emailed Jeb again; got through to Charlie Crist's ofc to leave a message. There's no getting thru on any of the phone lines now. Prayers beyond that, esp. for YOUR refreshment and renewal now as you all need it the most.
Have you heard Rush specifically mention the option of executive orders for the governor or president??
That's what I'd like to know - if you've heard. Thanks.
Someone just said: "I don't think Governor Greer is taking any faxes at the moment..."
HA! That's it! The REAL governor of Florida is Greer!
I watched Joe Scarborough last night and cried listening to his closing remarks. This is a transript posted online.
Take note that when you get to the bottom about God not blessing this or any other country for that kills its weakest and most vunerable citizens, he the SIGHED LOOKED LIKE HE WAS GOING TO CRY AND SAID SADLY, "MAY GOD FORGIVE US ALL". I lost it...went to bed crying.
Terri Schiavo: We should protect our most vulnerable citizens (Joe Scarborough)
As you may know, I have spent the last week on my TV and radio show fighting to save the life of Terri Shiavo. Like many opinion givers, lawmakers, and American citizens, I am shocked and saddened by the forced starvation of a young, helpless woman who is being sentence to death simply because she cannot feed herself. Applying this standard, infants, Alzheimers patients, the elderly and infirmed would face a court ordered death.
If we are to judge our society (as Hubert Humphrey once suggested) by how we protect the weakest among us, America is in trouble.
So where does my confession come in? Well, here goes. Until late last week, I didn't want to talk about Terri Shiavo. It was too depressing a spectacle, too ugly a fight. I wanted to turn my eyes away from this beautiful young woman who turned into a helpless, bed-ridden soul. As beautiful to her mother and father as she was on her 16th birthday, the Terri Shiavo of 2005 was just too painful to watch.
I suspect I was not alone. I have noted over the past several days a growing outrage for a judicial system that would allow a mother's daughter to starve to death in the most plentiful country on earth.
This morning on my radio show, I had planned to talk about the Patriot Act and a host of other issues.
But Portland called, and they wanted to talk about Terri.
Atlanta? Terri.
Orlando? Terri.
Washington DC? Terri.
Iowa...of course...Terri.
Three days ago, few Americans cared. But that is no longer the case. We are all wide awake in America, and we are no longer afraid to look into the eyes of Terri Schiavo.
And like her parents, we see a beautiful young woman made in the image of God.
A God who will not bless this or any nation that kills its weakest and most vulnerable citizens.
May God forgive us all.

I don't think Governor Greer is taking any faxes at the moment..
Sorry for not being more specific (not really).
I can't get a fax through to Governor Bush, and I'd like the email and fax of the Greer thing...
You're right. If, right now, Terri were to miraculously get out of bed, stand up and request a glass of water from the people guarding her, does anyone think anyone there would give her that glass of water?
Frankly, I can't tell those two apart.. they both look like satan to me..
Keeping fingers crossed!
Don't bother with fingers, start praying!!
The only way that would work would be Jeb would give him the option of agreeing or be arrested. I'm getting the impression of window dressing.
