I'm afraid I agree, I was quite hopeful today after Jeb Bush's press conference, but fear the worst. Well, I hope this won't seem awful, but perhaps Terri's murder will, as Mary Jo Koepechne's did, accomplish some greater good.
The Bush brothers have done everything they could and tried every ave. There is no other roads to use. People have to make sense here. There is not going to be a rush of troopers or national guard troops. It is not going to happen.
The lessons from this case which has been going on for years and years and all of a sudden in the last few months has gotten this massive attention are:
Have a living will
Pay attention to the judges during election time and vote the bastards out
Never marry someone who would want you dead under any and all circumstances
Get ready to watch the movie and book deals for Michael.
That's exactly what I am thinking. Terry will die so that from now on, nobody else in her condition is treated the same way. My guess is that now the life-death matters will be better regulated, and not live them to the discretion of judges.
Clarification please.
Are you saying that Mary Jo Koepechne's death achieved the goal of preventing Ted from being President? I'm not disagreeing, just want to make sure what you are saying.
Would the higher good -- if Terri is killed -- be that most future judges will most likely have to be pro-life'ers? I hope you are right! What a tremendous sacrifice for both families of these two women.
