Hey, so, maybe we can give the Constitution to Iraq. After all, it was thought up by a bunch of really smart guys who could write pretty well, and it really worked while it lasted and, well, like, we're not using it anymore or anything...
Well if you get the right lawyer and judge...
Gotta love the optimist
Yeah, Walter Reed, good idea!!! Surrounded by military - works for me!
Have the attorneys raised the question about feeding Terri following removal of the tube? Removing the tube is one matter, but forbidding mouth-fed sustenance is quite another.
They are refusing minimal care and feeding as a means of carrying out a de facto death sentence that has not been adjudicated. This is horrible.
Greer should have sentenced Terri to death, and then carried out the sentence via hanging, firing squad, electric chair, or lethal injection. This would have been "up front".
If didn't have a living will, and everybody in the family says he wants to live, he'll live, as he is doing now.
Who's his second chair, Randall?
Who are you?
I agree but I'd add:
Confront the Culture of Death
Confront the Supremacy of the Judiciary.
WE, the American people allowed this to happen by not stopping the courts when they first seized power years ago. Subsequent rulings from the Courts have generated a culture that devalues Life.
Now that we have been forced to face the Truth, we can fight to fix what has gone wrong.
Also, The Republicans have done what was in their power. I realize it's not the answer desired, it doesn't mean they deserve to be the scapegoats for that disappointment.
I am sure not, because Terri cannot live without the tube.
My mom said if this were anyone she loved, she would call in Executive Action or one of the private armies, and the victim would have been out of that Death Hospice LONG ago. My mom rocks. And I would do the same for her or any loved one.
The SCOTUS is famous for using the term "Ripe", and I believe this case is "Ripe" for Judicial revue
Your sugar coating your statement. JMO
Hannity was a "guest" on the Greta show "helping" us all to understand how errant the federal courts were on everything. I am not going to comment further.
I heard that also. But if Family Services are going in - why would they need permission from the guardian. If they found something wrong, and the guardian is there to protect her - why would they think they would even get permission from a guardian. They come in - in any situation - see something wrong - and can't do anything about it because they need permission from the person who is the one who is doing the wrong.
If I was speeding, the cop says this is wrong, does he ask me permission to give me a ticket. Dumb scenerio but I'm working on my last nerve here.
I doubt she can talk much if any fluid orally. But I don't know.
