EXACTLY!
PVS or not diagnosis is only important in applying the Florida law. In order to kill her she has to be diagnosed PVS since she is without written instructions as to her desires. That's why Schiavo/Felos/Greer selected doctors that support euthanasia like Ron Cranford.

Actually, according to FL law and as per the trial summary by Greer, PVS state is one of the 3 pillars that must be established in order to be compliant with FL state law to authorize feeding tube withdrawal. If the PVS pillar is compromised (Terri is established as being Minimally Conscious), then the statute is not met, leaving Greer and everyone else powerless to kill Terri. That is why it is so critical.
