A state judge issued an emergency order Wednesday to keep the Department of Children & Families from taking any action that would reconnect Terri Schiavos feeding tube. George Felos, the attorney for Michael Schiavo, asked Pinellas Circuit Judge George Greer to issue the order Wednesday while the judge considers a request from DCF and Gov. Bush to take custody of Terri Schiavo.

This may explain the delay.
Vermin.
Something is really, really wrong with Judge Greer. He has blocked Terri from having the proper tests for years, and at every opportunity rules against her. I have never seen anything like this, and I have to ask does anybody have faith in the American judicial system after seeing how Greer operates?
See # 28
When Bush was on TV ... he asked the attorney there to answer to make sure it was correct. The attorney said the DFC COULD do it. Wow, talk about down to the last second. WHAT ARE THEY WAITING FOR??????????????????????????????
Greer cannot enjoin enforcement of a valid law on the books.
The statute in question gives the executive branch explicit authority to take Terri and secure her, even requires the police to transport her.
You are not the only one who has read some Dante.
Heh. Chaucer said that about the roaming Friars who would beg, borrow, steal, and guilt trip the people out of their money "for the church". He was a very entertaining writer, as you might imagine.
People, NEVER EVER Forget after this is over that the jackass party is trying to keep the Senate, OUR Senate from appointing judges who would hopefully stop this kind of thing from happening.
Work hard now to make the senate stick to constitutional authority to confirm these judges. If we fail in that and the senate does not change the filibustering "rules", then we may end up with a bloody internal conflict on our hands.
This seems like a good day for a "lawyer" joke:
Q: What do you call a lawyer with an I.Q. of 50?
A: "Your honor."
Amen...that is the core of our fight for utter survival. This could be the downfall of our nation.
This is what happens when you go on national TV and tell your enemy what you're planning to do. They should have just kept their mouths shut and said nothing to nobody and when the timing was right - gone in and taken her.
But .. once she was in state custody - Greer would just have her removed and have the tube removed again. There is no outcome for them but for her to die. It's sick! In fact, they are so determined - I believe they will be willing to castrate themselves to accomplish it.
I've had this sick feeling in my gut all day over this. Having been married to a brutal person - I shudder to think what would have happened to me in the same circumstances.
Did Chaucer say somethng like that?
Right...we could just end up at square one even if she is secured. The ULTIMATE solution is to REMOVE that creep from guardianship...even take out a restraining order that keeps him a certain distance from Terri.
George Felos, attorney for the husband who only 7 years ago "remembered" his wife saying she did not want to live "in that condition". George Felos, advocate of "the right to die".
George Felos, Board member of the hospice to which Terry was sent to die after the jury awarded her 1 million dollars.
When will George Felos be paid? Perhaps after Michael Schiavo has come into his "late" wife's estate? When did George Felos and Michael Schiavo hook up anyway?
Follow the money. It will lead you home.

Amen...arrest the black robed ghoul for obstruction...

That's correct.

Did anybody hear that fat state Senator say, "to those of you who don't live in Florida who have been e-mailing me, STOP. I DO NOT CARE!" What a creep. This transcends state boundaries. This is a matter of human decency vs. barbarism in its purest form.
