A state judge issued an emergency order Wednesday to keep the Department of Children & Families from taking any action that would reconnect Terri Schiavos feeding tube. George Felos, the attorney for Michael Schiavo, asked Pinellas Circuit Judge George Greer to issue the order Wednesday while the judge considers a request from DCF and Gov. Bush to take custody of Terri Schiavo.

This may explain the delay.
Vermin.
Amen. Happy to agree with that!
Judges can be laid off just like any other employees, but they would have bumping rights within their jurisdictional level based on seniority. In other words, he could bump another county judge with less seniority if he is a county judge. Or on a state level if he is a state judge.
He reminds me of Emil Hochsteder played by Werner Klemperer (even looks like him) the fanatical Nazi who received condemnation and a life sentence from the tribunal.
Ohhhhh, dear. Hadn't remembered that one!
I've asked the freeper who I got it from to post it -- it was his catch.
Well .. you're asking him to break the law.
We don't have any right to do that. If anybody has a chance to do anything it will be Jeb. She's a resident of FL.
What's he waiting for? He can post the first paragraph with a link to the site. Big news.
I'll do it.
No, I'm not. I'm asking him to enforce the law. The courts are the one breaking the law. See Ann Coulter's quote on this. These are equal branches of gov't and the court has no right to do what its doing. The only question is if Jeb has the guts to stand up to them.
Just post the 1st paragraph. The site says that's all they allow.
It is Mom -- no doubt about that!
Do you think the State had that doctor in Terri's room to examine her to check out her condition this afternoon to see how she is doing? Wonder if any of the Judge's guards were in the room with the doctor?
HMMMMMM. . .
complicated.
"I'm asking him to enforce the law"
Really .. I've never seen a law that says that if the court doesn't do what we want - just take the police and do it anyway.
Is that the law you were talking about ..?? Get real!
No, you just dont interpret the law correctly. You are relying on what has been going on lately--judicial tyranny. Since when are judges the ultimate arbiter of law? They aren't. The Exec is an equal branch of gov't. Therefore, yes, Jeb can defy the court order and do HIS job in living up to HIS sworn duties. You haven't seen much abou tit because its rarely done, because some of our state execs aren't ballsy enough to do it. it's time that judicial tyranny end, and for Jeb to send in the national guard. Period.
I grew up in Tulsa. Got married in Tulsa. Hubby graduated from U. of Tulsa. Son played tuba in OSU band....the best college in OK. LOL just kidding! go pokes
I am very proud that the state I love stood up for Terri
Couldn't do it, even without ANY excerpting -- blocked here at FR.
Admin Moderator, can you fix?
The article said that Jeb Bush is aware of the issue, and could use it to take action (Use READ MORE on first page)
What do you mean? You are blocked, or the source is blocked from FR???
