Judges can be laid off just like any other employees, but they would have bumping rights within their jurisdictional level based on seniority. In other words, he could bump another county judge with less seniority if he is a county judge. Or on a state level if he is a state judge.
He reminds me of Emil Hochsteder played by Werner Klemperer (even looks like him) the fanatical Nazi who received condemnation and a life sentence from the tribunal.

No, you just dont interpret the law correctly. You are relying on what has been going on lately--judicial tyranny. Since when are judges the ultimate arbiter of law? They aren't. The Exec is an equal branch of gov't. Therefore, yes, Jeb can defy the court order and do HIS job in living up to HIS sworn duties. You haven't seen much abou tit because its rarely done, because some of our state execs aren't ballsy enough to do it. it's time that judicial tyranny end, and for Jeb to send in the national guard. Period.
