A state judge issued an emergency order Wednesday to keep the Department of Children & Families from taking any action that would reconnect Terri Schiavo’s feeding tube. George Felos, the attorney for Michael Schiavo, asked Pinellas Circuit Judge George Greer to issue the order Wednesday while the judge considers a request from DCF and Gov. Bush to take custody of Terri Schiavo.

I thought it was great -- my Congressman Tom Cole spoke on the floor of the House to save Terri and now my State Rep led the charge to get a resolution passed in support of Terri. Really proud of our delegation as our two Senators, and five Congressman all have supported Life for Terri.
Because good lawyers cost good money, and I'm not sure the Schindlers have it. A lot of this may be pro bono. Too bad Jay Secula didn't get involved sooner.
He is a State Court Judge. It might be different in Florida, but in Cobb County (where I live) the "Cobb County State Court" is a County Court...even though it has the word State in it.
Doesn't it make you wonder what is being hidden when this is really looked into? How many other cases are like this in that part of Florida in that Hospice?

Does it strike you odd that all the money that is donated to pro-life groups that they didn't get their lawyers involved in this way back when? At least going to Federal Court, they needed a crackerjack set of lawyers.
