What is Jeb doing? What are any of the people in Florida doing?
Could it be that it is SO critical to time it right regarding getting to the weekend or holiday and that her parents or others who know Terri's condition believe she can endure the day or so delay? Like mentioned earlier, if they can get this to span a long weekend before having to petition a court, it would give them time to get a lot more food and hydration into her and a proper examination. If they can only keep her in custody for 24 hours, that may not be much help.

"As I looked at Terri and she gazed directly back at me, I asked myself, if I were her attending physician, I could in good conscience withdraw her feeding and hydration. No, I could not. I could not withdraw life support if I were asked. I could not withhold hydration and nutrition from this beautiful lady whose face brightens in the presence of others." Dr William Cheshire after spending 90 minutes with Terri Schiavo. Taken from his affadavit filed on behalf of DCF dated 3/23/05.

That's a thought. But they said she had taken a turn for the worse. I just don't like one minute wasted. It's been almost 6 days. She has to get water.
On another point. I think the Florida police who put little kids in handcuffs for trying to take water in ought to be prosecuted for child abuse. There are a lot of sick things going on in Florida.
