I was reading the post about Greer. That Judge he denied an injunction for a wife seeking protection from her husband. He note d that the woman had not liste d any acts of violence by the man.
Days later, the husband stabbed her to death.
This Judge should not be on the bench!

Days later, the husband stabbed her to death.I'm not going to defend Greers' actions in the Shiavo case, but it's possible that at the time this protection order wasn't given because the law required previous acts of violence or something, and his hands were tied by the law. Had he done it, regardless of what the law said, people would have complained about "activist judges legislating from the bench" etc...
That may not be the case however, but it could be a logical explanation for why he denied the request for a protection order... Are there any other details on that case?
