the judiciary is part of the government too. don't get me wrong, I think the judiciary has poorly served this woman, all the way up and down the line. in a sane world, it would never have gotten this far - an honest review of the evidence would have stripped her husband of guardianship and given it to the parents. But it didn't happen, and for the judiciary now, this case has become about retaining their imperial power - its no longer about the merits of the case itself or what happens to this woman.

but is this the case to force a constitutional crisis on? I don't think so.

I do think so. Matter of fact, it is a PERFECT CASE!

If not now, when? We could all be Terri Schiavo's - at the mercy of some half blind judge who cannot read the medical records or much of anything else.

Is this what it means "Justice is Blind?"

A federal judge and 2 appeals court judges feel free to ignore the clear words and unmistakable intent of the law - as stated even by a dissenting democrat - and you don't think there is a constitutional crisis already?

This case has already produced a Constitutional crisis... the entire judiciary is hell-bent on putting a woman to death based on the rulings of a corrupt state court, despite the explicit wish of Congress and the executive of a de novo review of the facts of the case.

The question has been asked - is the judiciary more powerful than both other branches of government combined? So far the answer has been "yes". To one who understands our system of government as outlined in the Constitution this is frightening stuff.

The constitutional crisis exists simply by the idiology of the Justices, this is the perfect case with wich to fight them on.

Really, the Deathocrats would have served their intrest better by Euthinizing Mikey a year ago, before this got national attention. They political fall out from this is going to make what Sherman did to Atlanta look like a bake sale.

I politely disagree. If not this case of innocent life or death, then when?
