Aside from killing a disabled woman, what’s the controversy?

I like to think of this whole thing in, of all things, Star Trek terms. In Star Trek, as of the 23rd century, the World had suffered in the past through the Eugenics Wars, and the Eugenicists had been defeated. In the Star Trek scenario, there is an amazing capability to renew and reconstruct the human body, and curing, healing and improvement are the norm. There is no evidence of abortion or euthanasia. Contrast all this with the current apparent direction in the Western World. My only question is, are the future Eugenics Wars going to be part of the next great powers conflict, or, will they occur after it? I certainly believe that the Eugenics Wars are inevitable, if we do not change course soon.

I think her soul is just fine. It's pure and that of a martyr's. What she's going through just earned her a special place in Heaven.

After noticing that my new borns were unable to ask for food, walk to the table, sit down, pick up forks and spoons, I decided that I must breast feed them (artificial survival process) as their brains were not functioning at the level that they knew how to chew any other kind of food.

Who'd have thought that we would be refer to allowing sick and disabled help in ingesting food, would ever become to be known as "artifical survival process."

Here's an interesting story.

The execution was halted late Tuesday by U.S. District Judge Terry Means in Fort Worth.

Means was acting on an appeal from Staley's lawyer who argued the convicted killer is mentally incompetent and should not be put to death.

"Judge Means' order was that nobody's ever heard this guy's competency question," attorney Jack Strickland said.

Over the past few years babies have been left to die of exposure and [possiblly] starvation.

Now, you may refer to being fed as an "artifical surving process," - you may even be of the mind that the artifical survival process may be painless, peaceful and full of dignity, but:

1. Do you think the baby minded? What do you think the baby did? Cry because it was hungry and thirsty, or just went to sleep quietly and at peace when it wasn't fed?

and

2. Since no one actually 'killed' them, and the process of living naturally caused the babies to cease functioning, do you think the people who gave the babies a chance to live the survival process in such a manner were wrongly accused of causing the deaths of the baby?

Just carrying a thought process out.

Before you go off, it'd be nice if you could at least answer the questions.


I'll be up front with my views on those babies and how it relates to Terri.

They were abandoned, left to die because the people responsible felt they were trash.

They should be in jail for a very long time.

Just because a bunch of men and women may say something is legal doesn't make it right.

Terri's not trash.
