Greer has such a hatred of this (all?) woman that it simply emanates from him. I wonder at the cause.
There is the issue of "who pays" and we all pay either way. If we allow "The Government" to set a precedent that "starvation and dehydration" are legal ways to kill disabled humans, WE as a Nation, become Less Than Human. If it costs Medicaid dollars to pay for care, we keep the individual alive and we are humanitarians.
How can a Government who provides near luxury in Federal prisons, and States who provide many amenities in State prisons, refuse to feed a disabled woman??
We MUST keep the pressure up on everyone. The 'progressive/socialist' agenda MUST be exposed for what it is. . . the agenda of DEATH for those who don't meet Progressive/Socialist standards.
His repeated brickwall to ANY evidence that might call into question his earlier rulings is a clue to what most likely motivated him ... he is a control freak who cannot be wrong. Felos focused in on this to eliminate ANY possiblity of Greer getting off of the euthanasia agenda reservation. Sadly, the rubber stamp approach to judicial oversight in Floriduh worked to condemn Terri from the first ruling appealed there. Whittemore, being a Floriduh judge elevated to a federal position, followed suiut despite the Congressional mandate offered to him. judge Greer is a buffoon; judge Whittemore is an operative of gross political proportions, more than willing to aid in the execution of an innocent disabled woman in order to slap the legislative branch and thus seize more power for the judiciary ... to me, Greer is a sad, doltish defect in the court system; Whittemore is a an enthusiastic, necessary soldier in the societal engineering war to remake America, and he's shown he is every bit as degenerate as the man who appointed him to his position of power.
"Reichsleader Bouhler and Dr. Brandt M.D. are charged with the responsibility of enlarging the authority of certain physicians to be designated by name in such a manner that persons who according to human judgement can upon most careful diagnosis of their condition of sickness be accorded a mercy death.
Signed - A. Hitler".
From the form letter sent to relatives of the victims:
"In view of the nature of his serious, incurable ailment, his death, which saved him from a life long institutional sojourn, is to be regarded merely as a release."
Cordially,
Sweetie, if there aren't enough forums for you to find something you like, go create your own blog.
Thank you from the top of my beating heart.
Terri is not comotos. She swallows saliva, and can be taught to eat if given the chance. She is not on any life support. She responds to people. She is not in a veg. state, she was not in pain. There is no way she should be murdered.

The problem was that Terri needed an injunction. The rules regarding that were not changed, however much some argue about intent. Intent doesn't cut it. Words are needed. The words were struck in fact I think in order to get an expedited law trough the Senate.

Forgot to ping you, John. Sorry ... snow melted over there in NC yet?
Just imagine how President Bush feels? I saw it on his face today...it reminded me of our President just after 9/11. Did you see that 'look'? He is not done with this.
