Amen!
I heard a clip of a woman who was declared brain dead. They pulled the plug pulled on her, but she survived! She said it was the most painful, lonely and terrifying experience anyone could imagine.
Curious... Why haven't questions been posed to Terri herself about HER life, or death; in the form of yes and no, blink once for yes, blink twice for no?
Isn't she capable of doing this?
And if don't have a living will made out, never get in an argument, drive off and have an accident because you do not know for sure what the your spouse might say.
Imagine that. Once a spouse in anger says, "he/she would not want to live like that." he/she couldn't very well come back and say, "Oops, I was just angry when I told you that."
Could he/she?
The good people of the USA are not going to like it one bit if Terri dies unaided by government. I shudder to think...
Listen,If Terri is on"Life Support",so is EVERYONE else!!I had some breakfast,a light lunch, and I plan to eat something for dinner!!!Also,I have had some liquids!!!!
Terri is innocent. While not as pure as our Savior, it is like a modern-day sequel of "The Passion". People are being arrested for walking up with cups of water. That is illegal. One lady bringing water said "I'm willing to be shot."
Remember the cup of water brought to Jesus?
I will not encourage that any more. I should not have to begin with. I said what I'm going to say about it. This is not a forum for breaking the law. So these are my last words on this forum on this subject: Fare well, Terri.
FReegards.....
Amen. This is the most sickening display I have ever witnessed in my lifetime. We are truly a culture devoid of any moral core.
maybe we could build her a cake, or something.
No parent should ever have to bury their child. This is "judges gone wild".
I think we should use starvation as a humane way to issue capital punishment on all the death row inmates instead of i.e. lethal injection!
Yes, but the AP, the MSM, and certain "conservatives" that have decided to join the ACLU assure me that Congress exercising its constitutional authority over the judiciary is abandoning conservatisim.
It's as if starving someone to death somehow makes the person non-disabled. Our reaction to disability is to wrinkle our nose, draw back and then try to smash the bug so we don't have to look at it. It says more about us than about the disabled person. Do we really want to be among the "better dead than fed" crowd?
Inasmuch as ye have done it unto the least of these my children...
It's worse than that. What this case has shown is that it doesn't matter what you may or may not have said. Your fate will rest with a judge who may or may not believe what another person says you said.
This case is unbelievably tragic not just because Terri Schiavo is going to be killed in a state-sanctioned murder, or even that society as a whole is being led lock, stock, and barrel down a one-way road into a culture of death, where death is more cherished and protected than life, but because it has set the legal standard that a decision as to the life and death of one individual can be decided on the basis of hearsay evidence offered by another person, whose motives are questionable at best. So, not only watch what you say, but watch what others say you said, because it may be enough to get you killed.
