But she doesn't show up for school and the parents immediately suspect she had been taken to the Hope Abortion Clinic in Granite City?

Why there? Why not the mall? Her friends house? The bowling alley? The pizza parlor?

And why did they think "taken"? Couldn't she have gone herself? Hopped a bus? Asked a friend?
