She's not been given water for 5 days. It is unlikely she will survive much longer.
This is a terrible decision.

At least there's no jurisdictional issues - SCOTUS can't decline due to lack of jurisdiction as they declined previous appeals.

What was their reasoning? I thought that the bill from Congress was supposed to start the procedure over from square one - did they rule the law itself unconstitutional?
Is the next step to take it to the USSC? They've decided in the past not to hear a Terri case (not the same one).

Next step = appeal to SCOTUS. After that only the President or the Governor of Florida can stop this.

Here is the
link for the 11th Circuit's opinion. Can't get it to download yet. May not be ready.
Recommend trying in a few hours.

No, they can just decline without comment as they often do.

If the President or Governor were going to stop this, wouldn't they have done it already?

Can it go to the USSC now? Does anyone have an inkling how Scalia and Rhenquist, Thomas would vote if it did?

They probably will, this case is too big for them to ignore now, and they can't deny review due to lack of jurisdiction since there's an appeals court ruling in the record.
Other than that the President can move by EO to have the marshal service enforce the Congressional subpoena and act to safeguard the witness (Terri).
