This organization without law seeks ways for it's bureaucrats to derive assets from the property and labor of others.

FGS, just when I was thanking my lucky stars no one could work in a Terri Schiavo angle on this thread.

Good grief

Only $300K? That's it?! Guy's an idiot, plain and simple. He'll be a scapegoat. Marc Rich and others stole hundreds of millions. They should go after them.

You're leaping to erroneous conclusions.

Nobody said this is it, the sum total of what the investigation uncovered. It obviously is the tip of the iceberg and there are several investigations from various bodies looking into this scandal. No need to rant about scapegoats at this point. It is good that Kojo Annan's role is exposed and it is not the end of the story.

Yet also the Senate (Norm Coleman) and the House (Henry Hyde) are doing terrific work in their investigations.

They don't get the endless headlines that exposure of some trumped up Republican scandal would get, but they are digging away, nonetheless.

The US should leave the UN and kick their sorry behinds out of the country.

How about Kofi's boo-hooing to change things at the UN?

Methinks he might be trying to save his job.

Oh my, a new human-rights commission? Do ya think? Do ya think having Libya and Syria as the head to have been a bit of poor judgement?

Alas, he needs more money and is going to dictate a percentage of our GNP as "dues" to the UN.

Hey Kofi, just wait till you have to deal with Bolten.

Oops, maybe Bolton already dealt with Kofi.

It's hard to get these crooks into the headlines when Congress is smoke screening real issues with the Steroid Hearings and Terri Schiavo weekend midnight votes. Mealwhile the UN continues to steal, Social Security is still going broke, and spending is still out of control.

Weren't those steroid hearings the most boring bloviating ever?

It was painful for a news junkey.

LOL

But seriously, not garnering wide-spread coverage, but reported recently, Henry Hyde's committee received written replies from Marc Rich and the committee does not think he was forthcoming (they were not surprised). I was pleased to see they are quietly working away and continue to hope that slowly but surely the investigations will indeed produce documentation of what was going on. I also think we will see more prosecutions.

<< "Kojo Annan declined to comment."

Aside from his "relationship" to the corrupt, incompetent, Kofi Annan --- what marketable skills or expertise did Kojo have that attracted this Swiss Corporation to the table?????

Father and Son --- profiting on the deaths of Iraqi children and American citizens ....

WHERE is the outrage ..... WHERE is the rope to hang these bastards????? >>

The First Rule of the Oligarchy is, "First take care of the Oligarchy."

Who elevates Billy-Bubba Blythe? Who protects Sandy Burgler? Who ever heard of a twenty-tree-year-old son of a two-bit bloody bureaucrat being "retained first as a consultant and then on an unusual 'non-compete' contract.

Lying, looting, thieving, mass-murdering, serially-sexually-offending gangster bastards.

Outraged! Outraged, I tell you!

.......so he SHOULD be prosecuted and punished.

Who's got priority in this case? Who is recognized, in the case of the UN, to perform a prosecution of charges? The Hague? The UN? Who or what is the equivalent of the District Attorney and will press charges? Does the UN have a court? Does the UN have a jail that he can serve his 5-10 years in?

What I'm driving at is this scumbag will walk away, albeit with a tarnised name, unpunished.

Soon, a lot more people will understand the sentiments of the Marine General that caught a lot of flack for saying it was "fun to kill them" ---- speaking of the freaking lunatic Jihadists...

One day soon, we may have the pleasure of "destroying" the pin striped "diplomats" that have taken the U.N. to previously unimagined depths of depravity, incompentence, corruption and arrogance...
