I lived in a hospice for a few weeks (it seemed like an eternity) just a scant few months ago; it was a ghoulish nightmare; so I can relate to her suffering very personally.
Raging, obsessive thirst and scathing hunger are still very clear memories for me..one tiny plastic spoonful of ice chips was like a gift from heaven..
