What happens if Greer says no to DCF? I'm sure he will. Can they take her anyway?
They believe they have the authority, I think...
The way I understand it... YES!
I suspect that Greer saying "no" is not in HIS best interests. Up to now he's relied on this situation being below the radar and under control of the court system's "procedure." If Jeb goes in front of him with "new evidence that has come to light" he ignores it at his own peril. That's the thing about these death-cult cretins... they operate on their own "values" only so long as it doesn't affect them personally. If he's looking at some sort of malfeasance over his stand on this, he'll back down or be prosecuted for not doing so.
It appears they don't have to show cause at a hearing until after she is in protective custody due to the case falling under the "Emergency" provisions of the law. They can take her and then explain their actions by Wed or Thurs of next week. MS can not deny them custody if in DCF's opinion the guardian is a possible source of the need to take her into custody.
