This Judge could easily have ruled constitutionally that she had a right to life, which trumps all of the other legaleze and mumbo-jumbo being spouted by those who support having her killed.

Such a right would logically invalidate every "living" will and similar documents. Unless the right is burdened with the idea the state can condone suicide.

I think that we are all instrements of God, maybe this poor womans suffering is coming to the end of exposing the Left for who and what they are.

Nothing could have exposed the complete contempt the Judicary hold we the great unwashed rabble.

I am sure no good shall come to theses Judges, this gutless, souless little man Micheal Schiavo and the Democratic Politicans of the Local and National parties.

I have some good advice for all of them, Don't mock God, it's a fools bet.

Terri's death will not bother him, he has done the same thing to both his mom and dad.

Ideologically you are right, but in day to day life, in instances where death is clearly imminent and articial means only serve to delay that moment at great cost...this is what living wills are made for and I believe an individual has the right to make that decision with a doctor...either at that moment if they are conscious, are before hand if they legally draw it up.

In any case, at that point it is the individual's clearly recorded decision being inacted, not someone else's interpretation or some judge's "ruling", which are both, IMHO, inappropriate, unless there is unaninimity by the direct family members who have no conflict of interest in their death regarding such clear cut wishes. None of that applies in the least in Terri's case. What is happening to her is an aboration and a gross corruption.

Michael Schiavo claims that pulling the tubes isn't killing; it's merely "allowing her to die".

Kind of like a Scott Peterson type claiming that watching his wife drown in the ocean when she can't swim isn't killing; it's merely "allowing her to die"

I think we all have a right to question why the media is pushing for death. I now have a very low opinion of ABC, CBS, and Fox, and MSNBC. Now I will never trust them again.

I cannot help but think she is going to be something like a martyr and provoke a HUGE backlash against the people that want her dead.

I think the cops feel kind of bad for arresting the woman with the water bottle. My only clue is the lack of handcuffs - so far - they probably have no option when she gets tossed in the paddy wagon.

Originally, I believed the media when they were constantly saying she is in a vegetative state. Now I keep hearing otherwise.

Legally speaking, she is in a vegetative state because Judge Greer made that determination and it was upheld on appeal. Now, whether she truly is or isn't, the opinions could not be further apart.

That's why it would have been nice if the Schindlers had asked the federal court to take a new look at that instead of pursuing a very weak first amendment argument.

You got to be kidding - the president/gov. have the power to protect citizens. This women does NOT have a living will - the husbands testimony is heresay and suspect. He is the President of the United States - if he wants to send troops into that room he can - who would stop him?????? We have given the courts to much power to determine right and wrong - they have no guidance, could care less about presedence (unless it serves their purpose) and have allegence to thier political ideology not the constitution. Its time we the people (starting with the president) make a stand against these rogue courts/judges.

God, grant me the serenity
To accept the things I cannot change.
The courage to change the things I can,
And the wisdom to know the difference.

But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God

In my mind, each and every one of these police officers are no different than the Nazi troopers who allowed themselves to be a part of the holocaust! It's the old "I was only following orders" excuse here in the good ol' USA! These cops are the worst of the lot, just cowardly scum packin' guns to do the will of the "Fuhrer", Judge Greer! There are no words to describe the depth of depravity of these sub-human scumbags in blue uniforms!
