I thought the reason for nitrous being illegal was it's combustive nature. isn't this ,too?

The acetone will evaporate rapidly unless the tank and fuel system is pressurized.

Acetone is also the LEAST smog-generating of all the VOCs and is therefore one of the few organic solvents exempt from EPA regulation.

Yeah, I'm not sure about this being street legal. Just thought it was interesting. I've never heard of anybody doing this before.

How would this, if at all, affect power? No power difference, I would have no problem using it. If there is a power difference however, I wouldn't want to use it.

Yeah, I'm gonna try that on my vehicle. I'm also gonna try that new technique for making my computer run faster - a special virus that actually improves its performance!

Lots of additives would increase mileage, but not penny for penny against gas.

Acetone has an inherent molecular vibrationAnd just what is this supposed to mean? Any molecule above absolute zero has an inherent molecular vibration.

I saw this on another site yesterday. My question is what happens to the seals and gaskets?

I have been using it for about a year now, no problem. 2 to 4 oz per 10 gal. of gas. It helps.
