Schiavo's Parents Urge Court to Act Soon
Associated Press ^ | 3/22/2005 | Vickie Chachere

Warning that Terri Schiavo is "fading quickly," her parents begged a federal appeals court Tuesday to order the severely brain-damaged woman's feeding tube reinserted while they pursue claims that her rights are being violated.

Our "justice" system is barbaric.

"Their lawyer has made a tragic blunder"

Whose lawyer, and what was the blunder?

Prayers are needed in mass numbers-the power of prayer can not be underestimated. I agree that it should be reinserted until a decision has been reached. Those saying the parents are fighting a losing battle must not have children-I would fight til my last breath and would not give in. I think they should kidnap her and split.

Thank you for the call, friend.

Let's keep the prayers up, too.

It really is remarkable how all of these nurses are coming forward and telling stories about Terri's responsiveness AFTER the feeding tube was removed.

I say, as God is my witness, that NOBODY would starve my child as long as I had breath and two good hands and feet. I'd collect all my resources and set up accounts in various places and take my baby out of the country.

I have wondered the same thing. Surely, they could have gotten her 'kidnapped' at one point before it got to this point and left the country. It may sound far fetched but that is certainly what I would have looked into if it were one of my kids.

Clinton would have never done that- he would have reduced Schiavo to a bum,a hated figure- and amassed pubic opinion against him

Really? Then why doesn't he? Clinton does not have to be President to perform miracles...

"I think they should kidnap her and split."

I don't think they can, what with the police guarding her room.

There was a report on WABC news that a woman with a water bottle was arrested for trying to break in and give Terri some water.

Even if the parents got in the room (are they allowed there now?), I don't think they could physically get her out.

But as you said, let's all keep praying for Terri.

One would expect Bill Clinton and friends to kill Terri in a most henious fashion with no mercy and be unavailable for comment...probably while partying with his band of bros and broettes...

One expects more of those who claim to be of the Party of decency.. antithetical to the immoral Kerrys and Clintons of this world..

imo

I think that the Schindlers should have put out a contract on MS long ago. I know it's wrong, but if a husband had done this to one of my daughters, I would have killed him, one way or another. Sorry.

I've said the same thing. I would save my child one way or another even if I had to spend my life in prison.

Don't apologise, Pat. Your sentiment is that of a PARENT! Parents nurture. Parents shield and protect. Parents love like none other. We'd give our own life for our child. Even animals know to protect their own. Peace, friend.

Republicans don't live by polls like the demonDeathPushingRats. Republicans value life and the constitution that promises us the right to life.

Are you a troll?
