Does anyone know if someone other than this discredited Dr. Hammesfahr(sp?) has ever claimed that Mrs. Schiavo could ever walk with the parallel bars or swallow?

Tell you what. As soon as you produce evidence backing up your "discredited" claim, we'll scrape up some more witnesses to the swallowing and parallel bars.

God bless Rush, he just laid into the dems for somehow getting away with being the party of civil rights.

Please see my post #16. I'm on your side. Personally I believe whether or not Mrs. Schiavo will "recover" is completely irrelevant.

It seems there are always two sides to every story about Terri Schiavo, everything about her, and every person connected to her.

Anyway, here's the story regarding Hammesfahr. He was thoroughly investigated by the Florida State Dept of Health after neurologists in Florida filed a complaint against him. The basis of their complaint was that Dr. Hammesfahr claimed his treatments could improve stroke patients whose injuries had been diagnosed as permanent. The complaining neurologists stated that this couldn't be true, so Dr. Hammesfahr must be a fraud. After hearing and reviewing all the evidence, the administrative law judge appointed to the case concluded that Dr. Hammesfahr's therapy did in fact successfully restore previously permanent deficits caused by a stroke. It's interesting how some people will want us to believe everything Judge Greer decides, but will not want us to believe what Judge Kirkland decided about Dr. Hammesfahr.

Medicare also spent 4 years investigating Dr. Hammesfahr. They determined that most of the patients Dr. Hammesfahr treated for previously diagnosed permanent neurological damages did improve with his techniques.

I guess the choice is whether to believe Medicare and the Florida State Dept of Health.
