At this time Terri was able to chew and swallow and was learning to use the pararall bars to walk again...as soon as the malpactice law suit was won Michael Schiavo remember his wife wanted to die...so he would move her from one location to another every time they thought she was ready to start rehab again!
Lets try to have the same page to fight the MISLEADING OUT THERE!
What I wonder is if all this evidence existed before why has it not been presented in her former court cases and been shown by the media? Doesn't it seem odd that if the family could prove their case they would not have presented these pictures long ago? Where did they come from and when did they turn up? Was her husband hiding them? If this was presented why did the judges over look it time after time? Something is weird here. Remind me never to go to court in Florida. They seem to mess everything up when it comes to legal matters.
Do a poster search for Peach on FR. Peach has a lot of info on Dr. Hammesfahr. Look, I didn't ask to start an argument over Hammesfahr. But, I would still like some info from another doctor(s) which support his claims re: Schiavo.
Liberals claim that these issues, including abortion and right to die, etc., are a matter of privacy. Yet these same people want the taxpayers to fund these private things, like abortion and stem cell research. Great argument showing the hypocrisy of the other side.
I think we really have to reconsider these laws where the spouse decides who lives or dies. This could happen in many families.
Possibly we should protect people who need feeding tubes and can't speak for themselves. We are seeing that there is a huge difference between a dying person being let off the machines that breathe for them, and taking away a healthy disabled person's feeding and hydration. Should we allow feeding tubes to be removed, in nonterminal disabled people?

The doctor who was on with Joe totally stunned Joe to the point that he was almost yelling at the guy.
But .. I'm glad to hear that this nurse's affidavit is getting out in the news.
This woman's plight really makes me heartbroken. If her parents want to care for her, why doesn't the husband just leave them alone?
Nothing is stronger than the bond between parents and their children. Marriage does not even come close.
Liberals almost uniformly cheer on the murder of Terri Schiavo because it has direct bearing on that most cherished of liberals ideals, abortion on demand. The central ethical question in the abortion issue is the right of one person, for reasons only their own and with no regard for the wishes of the victim, to decide if another person lives or dies. That is also the issue at stake with Terri Schiavo. No matter how much you dress it up with flowery rhetoric about "choice" or "the right to die" or "states rights" or "the authority of Congress", the central issue always comes down to this. That is why we see liberals clamoring for Terri's death. If she lives, if we , as a society, choose life over death, where does that leave their almighty God of Abortion?
I don't have to search, I've read the documents myself. It is a smear campaign.
When I saw this Dr. on Hannity and on Scarborough last night, I didn't get the impression he is a quack---
at least he didn't claim he could get Terri up and walk, like John Edwards and John Kerry said they would if elected!
Besides, the nurse that was on Fox News this morning, pretty much echoed Terri's abilities the same way the Dr. did---so I think that is corroboration--
I agree. There are the types of arguments I was referring to in my earlier posts. I just Rush wouldn't sensationalize the issue with claims that Mr. Schiavo tried to poison his wife, Mrs. Schiavo can swallow on her own, etc.

I hope Husband Michael can afford bodyguards when this is all over. There are plenty of wackos out there, and I can imagine plenty of them are eager to see Michael take Terri's place as soon as the bed comes available. This saga will not end when Terri's death is announced.
I'm sure that this issue has brought a few zealots onto the wagon. For some time to come, the key players in offing Terri are going to be sleeping with one eye open. That's not right, but it's entirely predictable considering the morality and integrity of the judiciary.
Mrs Schiavo can swallow saliva. What is the inherent difference in swallowing saliva and water?

A nurse that treated her said they were feeding her jello, puddings,etc and she was able to swallow, but Michael got upset when he found out they were feeding her. Told them he would get them fired.
She WAS eating before Mr. Schivo ordered the feeding tube installed. She had the ability to swollow after the injury. If she has lost it it is because oral feeding and hydration is forbidden. With physical therapy ther is every reason to believe that she can swollow again. The tube was force on her by her husband for a reason. And it wasn't to save a few bucks as Schivo claimed.
