It's hard to grasp the simultaneous ignorance and selfishness of that statement. All of our lives are measurably improved through modern biology and medicine, and modern biology and medicine wouldn't be where it is today without Charles Darwin. We owe a great debt to Darwin for advancing our understanding not just taxonomy, but all of biology. Without out understanding of biology, at both the macroscopic and molecular level, we undoubtedly would not have the advances in new drugs that combat resistant stains of infectuous organisms, medicines to treat genetic disorders, and new medical technologies that we have today.
What has medicine got to do with Darwin?
Even Your famous 'creationist" acknowledge germs can be selected by antiobiotics, but they don't evolve.
