Same here. We've had one rain storm after another come through California for months now. The warm sunshine will be very welcome when it finally comes. Our valley is sure looking lush and green. The hills will be golden in a few months.
And a joyous Spring to you as well, my FRiend...MUD
I love that li'l fella! Sorry I didn't get back to say "Morning", so I'll say "Afternoon", handsome wolfie.
You need to teach me some of those steps. :)
Really?!!! I took that picture just this morning when I went out to raise the flag. Went out again at noon, and all the 'flowers' were closed. I hadn't noticed they did that before!
That's understandable. Just glad that you're beginning to have more good days than bad.
I keep calling the stuff with the purple flowers all over my fields clover - but I really have no idea what it is.......I just know it looks pretty and the birds seem to like it.
Speaking of birds........boy-o-boy have I got birds. The cardinals seem to have disappeared, but I've got more robins than I can count...........and I won't even talk about the grackles - they are pretty to see when the sun is shining on them, beyond that they are annoying as all get out.
Oh, look at that sweet bear and raccoon hugging each other! Thank you, Amy. You're always so sweet. :)
I need to get some more Welcome graphics made for you, don't I? Don't want your well to run dry, and Lori's probably wishing I'd be a little more help with those, too. :)
The wind here has actually been pretty chilly for several days, even though the temperature is mild. Glad you made it home before you had to drive in the rain, too. The roses are so pretty - pinks - they don't come much prettier. :) Looking forward to your Easter post tomorrow and see how you finished it up.
You doin John's tomorrow Dutchess?
As is your pretty spring graphic. Thank *you*! You're 'getting into' such neat frames now! (PhotoShop? They look great)
Oops, wrong thread...........this was supposed to be delivered to Amy's Place. :-(
Yep. It only took me about two years find the "shapes" tool in photoshop. Imagine what I will be able to do ten or fifteen years from now. LOL!
That's always the good side of having rain in the Spring. Our valleys are already looking greener since the rain moved in.
I had to go look up a grackle because I didn't know what that was - just a blackbird! LOL
AHa! Are you and Louie out dancin' today? :) (See his #51) :)
Thank you, Luv. I'm glad we have many who enjoy our graphics, 'cause we are surely a graphics-heavy daily thread!
Now let's get on with dancing!
LOL!!!!!!! is right.
I will never forget the first time I really noticed them. It was shortly after we had moved here (2 years next month) and I had lots of windows open...........I heard this really weird noise that spooked me and the dog and finally figured out that it was the sound of the wings of hundreds of the things.
