It would have been unconstitutional for him to rule otherwise. And this ruling respects Terri's wishes. Good call, judge.

Hey! We'll have none of that "Following the Law" and "Respecting the Constitution" around here! Remember, we don't like activist judges around here only if they don't rule OUR way. In this case, who cares about the law? </sarc>

As was said previously, Mrs. Schiavo is a Sainte, and what she would want doesn't matter--all that matters is keeping her body alive!

Would that be the law of disregarding the constitutional authority of congress when issuing the subpoena? Or would that be the law of this judge ignoring the constitutional authority of Congress in assigning jurisdiction of this case to the federal courts and moving that the tube be re-inserted while the case is once again reviewed?

Do you wear the proper religious symbols when you make obeiscance to judges overriding the will of the elected, constitutionally mandated people's representatives in Congress when they exercise their authority as granted in said Constitution?

In case you didn't know, the United States Federal Government has the power to protect the fundamental constitutional rights of the People. The act of one taking away another's right to life, refuses and violates all other constitutional rights of an individual.

IOW, a murdered woman cannot vote, etc., etc., etc.
