The money "won" in the malpractice has been used 1. for her care because that's expensive and 2. for legal action, presumably, to help put her to rest. That money is gone. How, again, is Michael coming out ahead in your latest conspiracy theory?
The attorney named Fox who won the case for Michael stated the award was between two and three million. Michael has spent slightly over one million, and so the money is not gone.

Although it seems ludicrous at first, I suppose one could argue that denying this woman relief through her wishes...Use the Vulcan mind meld on her, have you?
What if it turns out her husband is lying? Do you have a way of bringing someone back from the dead?

I guess I'll just have to slink away and find some place else to post my opinion, if it's not respected here. Come on, stay awhile. It hasn't even begun to get interesting. :)

The family had the opportunity to present new evidence to boaster their case and they chose not to.
They presented the same case which has lost in every courtroom it has been presented.
The fault is not with the judge but with the attorney who had the chance to enter new evidence and didn't.

The blame should be placed where it belongs MICHAEL!

It would have been unconstitutional for him to rule otherwise. And this ruling respects Terri's wishes. Good call, judge.

It's not a case of we being wrong.
It's a case of Florida having laws that allow this type of thing...and everything done was legal.
Sort of like how when the Nazis first sterilized the people with mental problems, then euthanized them, it was all done legally by having doctors certify the person was in such and such condition and the lawyers there to make sure it happened.
There is justice and there is law. Don't think the two things are always equal.

He totally obliterated his marriage vows. Yes, but he did it all in a very 'by the book' manner. What I've learned from FR recently is that killing your wife is commendable, so long as you follow proper procedure.

Didn't someone offer Michael a million dollars to transfer guardianship to Terri's parents and he refused?..Something more than money is driving this man..

Ok, let's say it was 3 years. Why is there a disparity between the time of her collapse and the time that Michael states that she never wanted "any tubes"?

This all started from Roe vs Wade, now where will it lead.......
I wrote in my blog the other day about this.
I think where we are headed next is eugenics - the next scientific frontier - the breeding of a master race - designer genes and designer babies - where you can pick and choose what type of child you want.
Of course in the process we will need to kill off those who we fight disabled, sick, weak or inferiour. Its for their own good you know.. cant let them suffer and we also need to consider the baby-boomers who will be retiring soon. cant have a drain on social services.

Oops, I'm so sorry for quoting a sworn affidavit in the matter. ...from a witness whom the court (and anyone else who noted the holes in her stories) found to lack credibility.

He's obviously not neglected her. She's in a hospice. Even though she's been moved around she's lived fifteen years in this PVS.
They're grasping at straws and seeing bogeyman where there is no evidence, only slander and insinuation.

He is a friggin murderer!
You could be right. Murder is defined as the crime of unlawfully killing a person especially with malice aforethought. Was his mind made up before he entered the court room?

The law does not deal with "WHAT IF's".This entire case exists because Judge Greer ruled that Michael's "What If" that Terri said she wanted to die, trummps the Schindler's "What If" that she never did say it.
