TARANTULAS WROTE: "And this ruling respects Terri's wishes. Good call, judge."
No, according to MICHAEL on CNN, he ADMITTED that he doesn't know what TERRI's wishes were...that he's just acting on HIS OWN wish for her!!!

Reportedly, Congress will be pushing through a law to appeal to the United Nations /sarc off. After all, we've trashed federalism...why not sovereignty? Well said. Please don't misunderstand me, my heart aches for this family. However, this is a medical matter, and I am resentful of the attempt to turn this into a Constitutional crisis.
The family should remove her from the facility forthwith. Once home, they are free to engage the services of such medical and nursing professionals as they wish who will render any assistance required. They should have instructed their attorney to bring some sort of proceeding to sever the matrimonial bonds if need be, in order to facilitate the transfer to home hospice care.
There are so many things dreadfully wrong with this case, legally, medically and morally. It's very sad.

Better yet, Amnesty International, The International Red Cross, etc. Imagine all the tax payers money we'd save if we let all death row prisoners starve to death from the day the enter prison! /sarc

One will find some interesting stuff researching Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger, Playboy and Nazi Germany. And one wonders where our society went wrong... And don't forget the mega-pervert, mega-liar, Indiana's own Alfred Kinsey.

Can the government order her body not be touched until an autopsy be performed? The local courts are useless.

The judge did not rule "Terri's Law" unconstitutional.
The judge ruled against the emergency request because he believed that the case had little chance to succeed in the Schindlers favor per Fox News.
To: jazzlite
The Schindlers have already lost a motion to prevent her cremation. I'm sure, though, that after Terri dies, the Schindlers will sue Schiavo for wrongful death.

Schiavo's not going to allow an autopsy, either, I understand.

Can't President Bush pass an evecetive order or pardon or SOMETHING? It is his last term what does he have to lose?

Quite a streak Adolph, er, Michael is on here...first, his parents, then he has Terri's perfectly healthy pet cats 'put down', and now Terri's time has come. What have the Scientologists offered you, Michael?

As a show of respect for the deeply felt upset of your fellow "friends".
Surely you can wait a day before your champion this woman's death?
Is that asking too much of you?
I guess I'll just have to slink away and find some place else to post my opinion, if it's not respected here. Thanks for your consideration.
To: Tarantulas
Why should I have to do that? Am I not allowed to express an opinion, even an unpopular one? I thought that was the purpose of Free Republic, to discuss opinions. Your opinions sound like something out of Stalin's inner circle of untrusted people or Hitler's inner circle.
Too many facts point that there is some really nasty things being covered up here. You might find some folks who lived in Berlin in leadership in the 1930's to be in strong agreement. That, I think, is why you are being roasted.

What would it take to bring criminal charges against Schiavo for neglect? If you had listened to the entire interview on LKL, you'd know that you are taking those words out of context.
